kung sa toposurface sya, better to use pad para mabutasan din ang topo/ground. (SITE selections)

or on the modelling selections, pwede ka magbutas ng floors or even wall using OPENING> vertical opening or shaft opening. (shaft pang elevator lang...)

good luck! :-)

actually Revit is good, kase nga model base sya, maganda sya sa concept planning at presentation especially kapag rush na talaga, only mahirap kapag detailing na lalo na kapag mga prefab items na ( imho)

but with the introduction of autocad architeture especialy the version 2009 and 2010 medyo naenhance na ng todo ang features at interface ng autocad. you can built a 3d wall and of course you can put windows and doors all in 3d plus the modifying factor for all this items, in a split seconds. capable din sa autocad architecture ang quantity take-off. medyo konti nga lang ang mga tutorials about this new features.

anyway revit is good too, and im a revit user too. you can post any revit queeries here and i know there are lots of revit user out there.

i tried to export d same file on revit2011,,, wla na parent block,,, viz block na sya at same quantity,,, i tried to modify it,,, hnde nag kagulo... tinaasan ko din weld point para maging single face ung mga glass panels... mejo gumaan ung file at easy to orbit on 3ds max...
meron ba sa inyo dito naka encounter nun?

Hi sir about sa problem mo hindi ko pa sya na encounter.pero first.. sabi mo lng kasi na eported mo lng saya papuntang max.. pero im not sure kung paanu mo sya na export sa max. kasi may two types tayo paraan ng pag eexport papuntang max.. 1. by cad then 2nd is using fbx.. pero sa tingin ko ginamit mo ang revit-cad-then max. kasi tinaasan mo ang weld point kung ganun baka naman acis solid exported sya.. from revit try mo muna polymesh. pag error parin.. yung fbx method naman ako kasi im using revit architecture 2009 and ang method ko is by FBX then max.. ok naman so far.. check nyo rin sir baka may isang model kayo na nagiging cause ng crash. baka hindi lng yung mullion ang dahilan.Very Happy try ko din to mamaya.

engel_hg;
ty s response pre... hnde naman nag crash ung revit to max file ko. Nagha.hang lng kapag madaming quantities ung curtain walls.

By the way, wala po bang effect sa Revit render na may sunset sky, or moonlit effect pag exterior ang ire-render.

Tapos, pag ilang stories na yun building, nasa ground level lang yun lamp posts, yun first level lang naiilawan. The rest of the building madilim na po. Question

sir ang ginagawa ko kasi kapag masyado ng malaki yung scene ...minsan hinahati ko...for example kapag four floors...inuuna ko ung unang 2 floors tapos sunod nalang ung iba...basta ginawa mo sa revit yung buo...you can use the hide commands...kapag na export na sa max magpapatong patong din yung mga floors. 2thumbsup

Hi sir about sa 3d Architecture medyo complicated sya eh. saka in terms naman sa company usage specialy by country bro dapat piliin mo rin yung gagamitin mo at pag aaralan mo sa software lalo na dito sa pinas well known ang Autodesk. Which Revit is one of there product yung transition and work flow check mo rin. baka kasi mahirapan ka mag export papunta sa cad or max. diba. IMHO Wink

Hi bro about naman sa trees ng revit try mo mag hanap sa www.revitcity.com daming models and family kang pwede ma DL dyan mag reg. ka lng then pwede din yung galing sa cad tapos check mo tong tutorial ni mark how to change yung material nya "http://www.cgpinoy.org/revit-tutorials-f39/how-to-change-the-materials-from-dwg-files-into-revit-family-t10083.htm"
pero the best talaga render mo nlng muna yung house or building then save mo as TIF file then edit mo nlng sa PSD para sa entourage at mga iba pang kailagan na trees para hindi masyado mabigat ang rendering sa revit. thumbsup

Ok po Sir, ut I'm only up to the navifgation of the software... kumbaga po yung similarity nilang dalawa if madadalian ako sa pag study ng revit or pagkapa... ska I don't use na yung 3d home arch. mga 5 years na... I just look for reasons and motivation for me to study revit... cause at first I don't find it necessary if I know ACad, 3DS Max, Sketchup and vray plugins for the two... may be for a time efficient work, that's how Revit comes very handy..

( Sir Engel, avoid mo yung all caps mo Very Happy thumbsup )

Hi Guys tnx for the Reply and sir 3DZONE. About the difference of Revit to Cad? Well in Cad we are doing in the 2d evirorment. except nlng kung switch natin sya sa 3d mode. pero we are doing in cad is 2d line parin. sample when you are doing a plan in cad. you will first draw a line parallel to each other. but still that is a line. But in revit we we are working in a 3D evirorment and also like un actuall construction inside your Pc base on the setting cofiguration and the way you work. which is for architectural and modelling purposes pag gumawa ka ng wall as in wall talaga yun. you can put materials dun sa wall mo hehe. and higit sa lahat madaling mag revise. kaya naging Revit name nya "REVIT" Revise instantly and marami talagang pinag kaiba. which mas masarap gamitin kaysa sa cad. Pero d ko naman isinasang tabi ang CAD coz im also a cad specialist before kahit ngayun im still using cad kaya lng limut na iba. for some of my project. sabi nga eh kung saan ka masaya. ge lng gawin mo diba.. nag aaral din ako mag VRAY ngayun.. hehe pero d pa ganun ka lufet.

Smile About the all caps. sorry nasanay na kasi i will avoid that thanks. thumbsup
