System requirement minimum lang yung ibinibigay nila para makapag install or makagawa ka sa PC or loptop.. - actually pwede naman yun nag lang medyo mabagal na sya kaunting galaw di mo mairotate.. how much more kung rendering pa ang pag uusapan? Experience ko sa PC ko,, 3Gigz at coreduo, etc, pero ang bagal na nya kasi medyo malaki na yung file. how much more sa loptop???? try mo din para malaman mo ang resulta at i share u naman samin ok...
thanks
(pwede u din naman i-uninstall if di uubra)

Hello about dyan well. na try ko na mag render ng walkthrou using my laptop retrace pa yun hehehe. spec.

REVIT TUTORIAL - Page 2 Empty Re: REVIT TUTORIAL

Post by jean7 Wed Sep 09, 2009 7:32 am

@gic:
Sa akin, I'm using core 2 duo, 2.26Ghz, 4GB ram (though 3GB lang max possible), 512MB video ram dedicated (laptop) - satisfied naman ako sa performance basing on RAC 2008 at naunang version (best setting), pero kung ang RAC 2009 ang gamit ko (mental ray @ best setting)... mabagal...(mas mabuti pang mag-max...imho).
I tried re-render a scene using RAC 2008 sa netbook 1.6GHz, 128MB shared memory, kaya naman - pero mabagal na at minsan sa mga mababang specs na computers kapag nagrender ka na, dapat hintayin mong matapos yung render window otherwise it hangs up or magka-crash.
As engel suggested, it is more practical to get a desktop. I got one recently, core 2 duo, 2.8GHz, 1GB video ram... mabilis mag-render at mura pa, yung additional sa laptop price puwede mo nang pang up-grade sa PC mo for better performance...
Tungkol sa 1280x800 resolution tapos yung requirement is 1280x1024, pwede pa sa revit, there are times kc n kapag maliit ang resolution - yung ibang icons sa toolbar ay di na magkakasya sa window (nakatago na) kaya ganun ang req't.
It's still your decision & preference though,...

@nerak_z:
try mo gamitin yung massing tool:
-> Create Mass
-> Solid Form
-> Solid Extrusion
-> Set Work Plane -> Pick a Plane -> OK
-> select a roof plane, from here Lines will be activated, just trace over
the required edges, offset or copy lines then close the lines...
-> Finish Sketch

-> File
-> Load from Library
-> Load Family
select file to load...

@karen_c:
Gamitin mo ang massing tool... either
1. revolve - for perfect portion of a sphere/dome.
2. sweep - for a customized shape and profile.
3. combination of the massing tools (solid/void)..
4. loading a mass object, using the place mass -> load -> go to mass library directory (dome,sphere,barrel vault, etc...)

-> for method 4, before you load a mass object, dapat meron kang host for the mass, gawa ka ng kahit anong extruded object saka mo i-load ang mass, then i-attach/i-dikit mo lang ang mass sa certain face ng extruded object... from there, i-click mo ang Wall by Face/Curtain System/Roof by Face... then select a face on the mass object, then may option sa taas na "Create System" kung Curtain system ang ginamit mo or "Create roof" para sa Roof by Face.. baguhin mo na lang sa object properties ang ibang data...

puwede sir, sa Rendering toolbar merong option na ganon sa Lighting>Scheme, pwedeng on/off ang ibang artificial lights at baguhin ang dimmer value at ang sun orientation... Sa sun orientation mas madali siyang i-orient pag naka shadow on ang 3d-model, baguhin na lang ang values ng Sun and Shadow settings sa Advanced Model Graphics dialog box...

In revit theres a schedules and quantity of a wall,
bring on the TYPE, Area, etc.
once you got the AREA of a wall easy na lang pagcompute ng Number of CHB
then you can add your formula directly for Area divide X # of CHB i Thinks its 11pcs / sq. m.
