First topic message reminder :

i've been a fan of your photoshots here... and im also aiming to buy a new one... pero nagdadalawang isip ako... kase tingin ko mahal po ata ang isang starter camera... just to ask kung ano po ba ang magandang starter camera na pwede sakin, ung pangmahirap lang po ang presyo, baka di ko kayanin.. hehehe... saka na lang ung mga accessories pag nakabawi na... pa post reply naman po ung model name, pati presyo... php price po ha... mas ok kung me pic.. hehehe.. thanks in advance Crazy_Lion

It's basically to reduce blurring....

-ditto-

afaik, VR Lens comes out with D60 KIT only....correct me if im wrong Crazy_Lion

same goes with other nikon models I guess...i.e. d80,d90..etc.
But what I'm stressing is to go for VR regardless of brand or models.
some brands call it differently but the point I wanna stress is the option.
non VR lens is a pain in the ass! hehehe

D80 Kit Lens doesn't go with VR.

Camera Help - Page 3 Empty Re: Camera Help

Post by Guest Mon Jan 26, 2009 1:03 am

For me bro..Personal preference and not a professional as well.Ito ay base lng sa mga kaopisina ko.i have 5 office mates using nikon. D40,D300,D80(2) and D90..All of them are good but for me D90 rocks talga. We are always comapring each time na may photoshoot and impress talga ako sa D90.Vibrancy ng color, sharpness and everything. D300 is good as well pero hindi ko ma justify yung price sa output na nakukuha nya.Maybe sa body talga which is talgang pang harabas.D90 kse is using CMOS sensor na and some good other feature as well and the ability sa low light.Pero syempre depende din sa gamit mong lente.D40 and D60 is good na din for starting and amateur photographers like us.Invest more on the lens. Pero ang bottom line-no matter what camera ure using, its really up to the person behind the viewfinder.. thumbsup

Erick here's something to consider:

1. D40 18-55 kit lens (P21k)
2. D60 18-55 VR lens (P28k)

or

3. D40 18-55 kit lens (P21k)
+
50mm 1.8fd - (P6k)

i'd recommend go for option 3 kung gagastos ka rin lang ng additional. superb ang 50mm 1.8 for night shots and portraits.

hmm considering na 4 yrs old na ang 350d.. id probably get that for P10k or less.. otherwise id rather get the newer entry level DSLRs, mura na ngayon eh, with more features. although the 350d is still a good camera
