Camera Clipping with Vray Physical Camera
Hi guys, i just want to share this simple and easy to follow tutorial on camera clipping using vrayphysical camera in 3dsmax.
So let's get started:
I have here a simple scene, it's a 1-bedroom suite about 47.60 sqm it's a typical suite room with living, a small dining area,t&b and kitchenette (for this particular tutorial I've decided to create a scene in the living area)
1. first, create a camera, go to camera and choose vraycamera then set the desired angle you want. in my sample below i have some objects that will be affected by the clipping plane, so i selected those objects (hold Ctrl key to select multiple objects in the scene) then right click and go to object properties then just unchecked renderable under rendering control parameters.
2. enable clipping under miscellaneous parameter, set your near & far clipping plane (you may leave the far clipping plane parameter by default) see illustration below.
3. then once your done, you may start tweaking your camera settings, f-stop, shutter speed, film speed ISO etc.
and here's the result after less than an hour of rendering
Hope you learn something from this tutorial!
Thanks for viewing!

Re: Camera Clipping with Vray Physical Camera
Master mez, ano ba ibig sabihin ng clipping plane sa vraycamera? You mean something na nkaharang na object sa camera? This tutorial is fresh from my vocabulary hehehe. By the way this is great!

Hi davendask, "You mean something na nkaharang na object sa camera?" may point din yung sagot mo sir, by the way kung mapapansin mo sir sa illustration yung red line sa vraycam yun po ang clipping plane,so any object na di nasasakop ng clipping plane ay di po yan makikita when you render your scene, alam ko meron pang ibang method nito.

I try it last night master mez and it works. Great. Yap I agree there's still another way of doing this kind of tricks or just hide the objects blocking on it.
