proper way of importing/merging Empty proper way of importing/merging

mga sir paanu po ang proper way ng pagimport ng isang object sa 3ds max?
may ginawa po kasi ako nawala yung materials.
inadopt niya yung materials sa current scene.
tapos nagtry ulit ako yung una okay naman pero nung nagemport ulit ako ng ibang object nagkaconflick na nanaman sa mga materials.
sana po matulungan po nionyo ako ulit.

kapag nag merge ka with the same materials name, may option box lalabas at click mo yung autorename para max na bahala sa mga duplicate material names. saan kaba nagmomodel? kung sa cad kasi, baka same layer yung mini-merge mo kaya ina-adopt yung materials nung mini-merge mo. sana nakatulong to cabalen. hintay nalang natin ibang input ng mga masters. tama po si master jheteg. kung meron kang inimport (i'm assuming na max file kasi may material) tapos may kaparehong material (pareho sa name) dun sa file na pag iimportan mo, lalabas talaga yung dialog box na yun. ginagawa ko na lang na autorename yun, pero depende sa yon sir. pag merge naman, (correct me po kung mali) ginagawa ko is dinadrag ko from the explorer window papunta dun sa 3dsmax, then may lalabas na option kung merge, reference, etc.
