HELP - rendering with car Empty HELP - rendering with car

Post by bleedingboy Wed Jan 19, 2011 2:27 am

Hi, everyone. I'm new here, and i am just a self-taught kind of guy.
So, try to be gentle with things (he he he).

I'm currently rendering a scene (exterior), and i'm inserting a car (aroung 83MB) high detail.
I tried making a proxy out of it, but VRAY encountered and won't allow me to make one.

Any suggestions how i render it with the car?
I already have alot of things, within the scene. but even if i remove those.
It won't allow me to render it with a car.

What should i do?

Thanks, man.

Try to look for a car na smaller ang size. Meron dyan mga 2-8mb na maganda ang pagkagawa. 83mb is too much. Try to search the free stuff section, meron mga link dyan. Good luck!

open ka ng fresh scene then merge mo dun yung car , tsaka doon mo na siya i proxy then save mo on a new file name and tsaka mo i merge sa exterior scene mo.
tip:hindi na necessary to put a very high poly objects sa scene kung hindi naman to ang subject mo or it's away from the camera. it will help to make your rendering a bit faster Very Happy

First open the Hi-res Car file mo tapos gawin mo syang proxy to do that make sure na you've attach everthing in one mesh para mas madali ang pag convert ng vray into proxy file, ang reason kasi pag maraming parts or meshes medyo matagal ang pag convert kaya minsan meron mga errors, once ma convert mo na ang mesh mo sa proxy save it into max file.. tapos open mo ang scene mo then merge mo lang yung na save mo na max file proxy. hope naka help.

Sir, I like your tip, haven't done this at all. but could you please ellaborate on making in into one mesh? to be honest, I have no idea on how to do this, is it by GROUPING? or something else. (a command, perhaps?)

looking forward to your explanation, sir.

here's how:

- isolate the car
- click any single object
- on modifier tab (located on the right panel)
- click "attach" or "attach list" (i prefer attach by list)
- when the dialog box opens, click all the mesh (if you got low end pc, dont select all, select by batch, maybe 20 objects per attachment call
- after attachment, then proxy it
- hope this helps...

load mo muna ang scene ng car mo na hi-res notice maraming parts ang model. next gawin mo silang isang mesh lang

HELP - rendering with car 0111

tapos select ka ng isang object dyan for example body ang pinili ko .. tapos click mo ang attach list

HELP - rendering with car 0210

tapos select mo lahat ng objects para maging isang mesh na lng sila

HELP - rendering with car 0310

tapos once ma select mo na click attach tapos lalabas ang ganitong window

HELP - rendering with car 0410

tapos once ma combined mo na sila maging isang mesh nalang tapos convert mo sya sa vray proxy

HELP - rendering with car 0610

tapos once converted na sya into proxy .. save mo sya seperate files tapos open mo yung scene mo tapos merge mo lang yung proxy scene mo .. hope naka help.

make sure before you convert it into proxy eye drop mo muna ang materials sa model .. tapos once meron ka ng material convert your model into proxy tapos once maging proxy na sya .. select mo ang proxy tapos apply the material you've just eye drop at save mo ang scene mo bago mo e merge sa new scene mo..

is there a way that i can attach it already sa proxy, so that if i drag and drop a proxy, it's already included? if none, i'll definitely do what you've said.
