HELP! Philippine Immigration

Good day sa lahat ng mga Filipino Expats na and2 ngayun sa UAE.

Just need help ASAP kaya napa post po ako sa cgpinoy.M currently residing in the
Philippines and got an employer in Sharjah,UAE an arch'l company.Direct hire po ako
and they issued me na a PERMANENT RESIDENCE VISA.Ang gusto ko po sana na
maipapadala po nila are the original copy of my Visa and my Working permit for
Phil.immigration purposes.Unfortunately,Visa lang ang maipapadala nila kac ang Working
permit i should be there (UAE) personally for my medical exam daw and it will take 14
days pa to process the working permit and they need me ASAP na.

Ang tanong ko lang po.If my PERMANENT RESIDENCE VISA na is on my possession pwede
ko po bang sabihin sa immigration na ang purpose ko sa UAE eh mi trabaho ng naghihintay
sa akin? bale ang dala ko lang to exit phils.and to present sa immigration are my Visa,passport,
NBI and a valid id?

And pwede bang sa UAE nalang ako mismo mag apply ng clearance from POEA?ang tagal pa
palang e-process d2 (phils.) it will take a month and ang dami pang babayaran.

And kailangan ba sa immigration ang exit clearance na yan from POEA?

Hope mi sumagot na mi background na kapareho sa situation ko para maliwanagan po.

Mi naka pagsabi din sa kin.Sa OWWA nga lang daw ang punta ko...doon sa NAIA or international airport na mi OWWA office and magbabayad ka lang ng 3,000.00 and it takes 1 to 2 hrs.lang daw kuha mo na ang OEC mo.Pag mi OEC ka na di na ako magbabayad ng terminal fee.

Yung POEA security measures nga lang ng OFW yan.

Brod, maging manager ka man, katulong, engineer, doctor o kargador. IIsa lang ang tingin ng Philippine Government sa iyo - you are an OFW daw.

Tulad ng sabi ko - titingnan ng immgiration personnel sa NAIA ang iyong pasaporte. Pag may nakasaad doon ng permission to work (WORKING VISA) from another country and your ticket indicates you are going to that country, tecnically you become an OFW in their manuals. If you are a Pinoy going abroad to work - you will be required to go through the POEA PDOS (Pre-departure Orientations), Health Checks and owwa memberships - these will take at least a week in my experience.

Pag wala ka nyan, you will be turned down by the immgration because they will claim that your contract and the work conditions in the host country you intend to go to has not been thorighly checked by the POEA. In lay mans word - you haven't been milked yet bago ka pa man lang lumabas ng bansa.

Do not gamble going to the aiport without it. More or less - you will be turned away nasayang lang ang pagod mo.

eto na lang ang magandang tip na ibibigay ko sayo na medyo legal at makakahinga ka ng maluwag sa exit mo sa pinas..

kung may kakilala ka sa UAE friend or kamag-anak. mag-pabili ka ng invitation letter sa UAE Philippine Embassy... tapos ipa-mail mo tru western union or any courier service na matulin mag-deliver., tapos yun na ipakita mo sa IO wala ng tanung yun. exit ka na agad.. tapos sa dubai immigration ipakita mo na lahat ng papeles mo.. tapos na.. ganun lang kadali...

You can of course argue that no citizen should be prevented from moving his arse whenever and wherever he wants to - but magsasayang kalang ng laway because the Immigration people were specifically intructed by your government to make money first from you before letting you fly free.

Thats a sad tale in disguise of caring for its laborers.

I have given up sponsoring pinoys in the past because of this sad sad rule.

sir.. di ka bibigyan nito ata.. kasi wala ka pa naman contract at work pass eh..

You have two options - you have to convince your employers to wait for you because thats how things run here.

Second, go on a trip to hongkong or singapore, have a few beers with natski and head to your final destination.

So where should i comply this OEC,in POEA or OWWA?

Go staright to POEA. Sa direct hire section. Remember may madugo pa silang requirement sa direct hire - eto ay yung compliance na tinatawag - kailangan ng employer mo ang pumirma sa ilang conditions na maaring wala sa kontrata - like sending your body to the Phils in case of death at cost to the employers etc.

Without this you cannot move on to the OEC.

Don't think I'm discouraging you - actually its the POEA who do discourage employers from contracting pinoys directly instead of hiring thru agencies. Kasi nga ala silang kita sa direct hire.

Sir natski, not sure sa dental, but i do know one of my friends dati naka-avail sya, i think he just tried to make way with the system. Sa medical meron talaga yan thru medicare, kasama na yata yan sa OWWA benefits as long member ka...

Maraming salamat sa lahat ng nag advise sa akin tungkol sa mga requirements sa POEA.Andito na sa akin ang original copy ng EMPLOYMENT VISA certificate.Ang dami pa palang aasikasuhin d2 sa pinas. Punta pa ng UAE embassy sa makati to secure "VISA" stamp sa readable passport ko nakakaumay kasi ang layu ko sa makati,nasa mindanao yung location ko.Personal pa yatang pupunta doon.Mi medical exam pa for OEC require by the POEA.

Hi, Gusto ko rin sanang ishare yung case ko baka sakali matulungan nyo din ako.. Nandito po ako ngayon sa Pinas and my husband is presently working in Abu Dhabi as engineer with residence visa. He's planning to sponsor me with a husband visa and hopefully makaalis na ako dito pinas by december. I have my marriage certificate autheticated already by the DFA and UAE embassy. I also renewed my passport using my spouse surname.

Ang sabi ng husband ko, he will apply for my entry visa at un ang ipepresent ko sa immigration temporarily, then pagdating ko sa UAE, i will apply for my resident/husband visa at dun na tatakan ung passport ko ng VISA..Tama po ba?

Ano po ba ang possible na supporting docs na hahanapin/tanungin sakin sa Immigration by the time na paalis na ako? Nag aalala kase ako baka harangin ako sa Immigration or hanapan ako ng butas..

Not by experience but I think that is the correct way. If you stay long here in UAE, your husband will apply a visa for you under a husband visa. If not, there's an option as visit visa lang for a month or two. There is another visa (applicable to relatives and spouses) they call it a 'long term visa' for 3 months. Since your husband is an engineer, he is eligible for this. Ang maganda sa long term visa is mura lang for a span of 3 months and you have a choice na kung di mo magustuhan dito ay makauwi ka kaagad. He only need to deposit a certain amount or tinatawag na BOND as guarantee na refundable naman pag exit mo from UAE.

Supporting documents I think the most important is your Marriage Certificate Authenticated and the rest; diploma and TOR with red ribbons..these are impt if you apply for work.

Original work contract from your employers na pirmado ng employers mo. Ipa fedex mo sa kanila. Ganun talaga eh kailanagn mo marehistro sa Owwa para sa yo na din yun. Proteksyon mo. Pero gaya nga ng nagyari sakin, mag memedical ka pa din pagdating dito. Madodoble pero wala na dental, chest xray lang dito at dugo. Kaya mo yan.

naku .. medyo mahigpit din dito (singapore) sa ngayon sa mga south east asian people.. para something to do with human trafficking. kaya madami naho-hold sa immigration. kung maging ok ka sa immigration sa pinas, posibleng ma-hold ka dito at pauwiin.

-Hindi naman mangagaling sa OWWA yung contract mo. Bakit naman mangggaling sa kanila yun eh hindi naman sila ang employer mo. Labas sila dun. Titignan lang nila yung contract mo para mailista nila magkano offer sa yo at kung may sure kang employer na dadatnan sa UAE. Inililista kasi nila yan para kung sakali na manloko hindi an sila makakaulit pa na maghire. May isa pa na papel na na ibibigay sa yo ng owwa na papipirmahan mo sa UAE. Pero ito kahit thru email na lng pirmahan at ipadala ng employer mo. At ipresent mo sa OWWA. Etong papel na to hindi contract to, nakalagay lang dito yung security na pag namatay at inagrabyado ka ka sa UAE. Sagot nila pamsahe mo o ng bangkay mo. Security mo yun. Hindi rin ako pabor sa ginagawa ng gobyerno natin na "peneperahan" in a sense na magbabayad ka nga ng OEC,Philhealth sa Owwa. Pero sa kabilang banda proteksyon mo din ito para di ka maapi sa UAE.

Hi Sir! Care to share some tips on how to outwit the immigrations there in SG? hehe.. I mean, ano-ano po ang mga documents na iprepresent to look convincing? (if im a visit visa) Mga mgkano po dpat ang show money and ano2 mga docs na ipapakita para hindi maharang sa SG? Because im planning to go there early next year..

Also, based sa mga nabasa ko, gnun ba tlga sa immigrations nten? lagay before you leave? how rude!

trip trip lang nila din e. mey mga iba na complete sa documents pero naho-hold pa rin. meron iba nakarating na dito, pero papauwiin ng singapore immigration.

baka next year ok na.. weather weather lang din yan.. like two months ago, kelangan pa ng nakakaperwishong PAG IBIG para lang bigyan ka nila ng OEC. ngayon wala DAW ng PAG-IBIG.. sana.. malalaman ko pagkuha ko ng OEC

balita din dito ngayon na umarte ng bonggang bongga ang immigration natin dyan. kaya hirap sila mag import ng DH from pinas.

iniisip ko nga sa brother ko, papuntahin ko muna sa KL or Bali .. tapos punta na dito.

aaahh!!! alam ko na.. dapat kung girl ka.. di ka mukhang pokpok or prostitute or mey tendency maging "TP girl".. mas mahigpit sila sa babae dito dahil sa human trafficking.
dapat konti lang ang dala.. kung tourist, dapat pang tourist luggage lang. tipong pang backpackers..
DHL or FEDEX lang katapt ng ibang gamit mo.
kasi nga naman kung tourist ka tapos di ka halos magkandabuhat sa dala mo .. di ba?
