guys am planning to buy slr....ano pinakamagandang options ko? tiyaka...patulong nalang kung pano tumingin ng cam....plssss

buy something na within budget. wag na yung d40 or 40d, lumang versions na kasi ang mga to. buy if you can get a 2nd hand at really cheap price mas ok.

buy either nikon d60, d90 or canon 1000d, 450d, 500d.

pag may budget ka pa, go for even higher models. sulit na sulit yun. Smile

i know a dealer kasi na i year to pay tpos hawak na yung model....so i can go to 450 d or 500d k ung hulugan...di ko masyado trip canon...yung offer naman na d40...sakin...15k lang benta sakin...may extra pang battery pack....pero kunha sana ako ng 1000d...kaso yung iso pala is 1600 lang...uhm....kaso the problemis...hindi consistent kita ko sa work...working student lang kasi...kaya kung kuha ako ng 1 year to pay..hindi ako ganun ka confident na kaya kong bayaran....

get the d40 at 15k. sulit na yun for now. although sa tingin ko may makukuha kang ganyan at 10k. pro rare lang, kailangan mong hanapin talaga. pro kung 1 year to pay naman yan. walng problema, that's 1,250 a month.

1000d is also good, di mo naman kailangan ang high iso. magiging grainy lang ang mga pictures mo. iso 100-200 naman pag morning ang gamit. pag gabi naman, ok na ang 400-800. o di kaya magflash ka, may built-in naman yun.

pro best suggestion ko. finish school first and find a good job. you don't want to jeopardized your future with a fancy camera. not unless your course is either fine arts or journalism.

Get the camera you CAN afford.

If you are a working student, why not save the money first before buying - the reason why people get themselves into debts and trouble is that they tend to swallow more than they could chew.

Don't take me wrong as I do not have pakialam with your finances, but the best policy is to always BUY WHAT YOU CAN AFFORD. Save money before making the purchase, not the other way around.

I'm a D40 user btw and I have no complaints. Shooting pictures is not really about the camera. You'll do good if you are good at capturing the right moments kahit instamatic pa yan. Daming magagaling todits, paturo ka sa kanila!

salamat sir boks....big help....balak ko din sanang magsideline ng photography...may friend kasi ako na photographer and his willing to have me in his photoshoots...para mapagkitaan...

...b.s. arch student ako....may financial prob kasi kami...since may naipon akong money sa work...invest ko sana sa camera atleast pwedeng mapagkitaan pa...risk it to get the biscuit...

atleast ill have 2 works na..and both are related to arts..ant it will help me support my studies...and at the same time makes me a better person/artist/arhitect/...

If that suits your budget...go ahead...best for starter.

actualy meron akong power shot na a630....okey nman...and pwedeng lagyan ng lense...pero iba padin yung dslr diba? tiyaka matagal magprocess kaya hindi makahuli ng magandang moment,,,pero hooked na ako nun pa...salamat

So he is leaning more on canon i must say..If you guys are really close and if you think you can borrow his lens sometimes then go for canon. Thats the thing about me before when i had my first camera, I dont have somebody besides the people here in cgp to guide me thru the process. I went to Sony Slr cause my sister got one and i considered she might wanna end up giving me some of her lens too.hahaha. But anyway if you are going to have one,have fun shooting and enjoy! thumbsup

i'd go for either nikon d90 or canon 40d at least coz both fall under pro-sumer dlsr and both are competing in terms of price. kung kaya pa i-stretch ang budget, 50d...and so on. you might have more regrets later on pag nag d40 ka.

heto specs:

canon 300d DSLR body with kit lens and 70-90mm zoom lens
Vivitar evternal flash,2 cf memory cards,2 battery packs,charger,tripod,its cd,
