Re: scaling on cad help mga sir....

Re: scaling on cad help mga sir....
- punta ka layout
- type: mv
- pasok ka mv then type: z
- then type: s (for scale)
- then type: 1/50xp for 1:50, 1/100 for 1:100 and so on.
good luck...hirap mag explain pag di nakikita...wahehe...sana nakatulong ako....

Re: scaling on cad help mga sir....
i normally make my scaling procedure on paperspace.
sa modelspace either 1:1 ako and kung medium size project millimeter naman gamit ko.
now let me proceed paano ba ang work flows na gamit ko.
1 . activate viewport toolbar by right clicking on any toolbar, then autocad then viewport ( in case its havent yet activated)
2. assuming you have already all the drawings in model space at 1:1 scale. activate paperspace . i also normally create my title block on paper space at 1:1 also. there are two scenario that might happen in paperspace when you activate it.
a - theres already a viewport
b -theres no viewport ( this is the case if the CREATE VIEWPORT IN A NEW LAYOUT is uncheck at display option)
2a. scenario (a). if theres already a viewport, select it to highlight and its scale will show up on the viewport scale.
from here, you can adjust scale of your drawing base on your preference.
2b. scenario (b) if theres is no viewport on your drawing, just click the icon Single viewport on the viewport toolbar and create one on your paperspace, then proceed with 2a procedure.
-you can also type the scale you want directly to the viewport scale window, 1 for 1:1, .1 for 1:10, .100 for 1:100, .2 for 1:50,
practice both combination like 1:1 scale at model space and 1:1000 (millimeter) in paperspace or vice versa. this will give you more freedom in creating your own workflow on proper scaling.
-So with these, when you plot your drawing, you dont have to think for plot scale just 1:1 ratio
-You can also access the viewport scale on viewport properties, select your vieport and hit Ctl 1.
-Just explore the viewport toolbar and you will learn a lot from there.
