Re: scaling
if you're using autocad 2008 and above.. they have this annotative scaling... set your scale first then execute dim command or text...
Re: scaling
if nang scale ka if your using dli set mo ulit yung dimension mo para sa 1:10 scale den scale it ung ginagawa ko kc scale ko is old scale divide ko sya sa new scale ung value nya un ung gagamitin ko sa scale nya

Re: scaling
dude kapag sa layout ka nagscale automatic dapat yung titleblock mo nkaset din sa layout na mismo. tpos viewport mo nlng yung mga drawings mo and then re-scale it. lahat nsa layout na nkalagay titleblock, callouts, etc. except lng drawings mo.
Re: scaling
the best way to achieve this is by using viewport at layout space!!! with 1 is to 1 plot scale........
i.e. scale:1:10
u can just type
[zoom] enter [scale]enter [1:10xp] enter.........

Re: scaling
bro mas maganda kung masanay ka sa paglalagay ng dimensions sa paperspace... mas madaling mag multiple viewports with different scales and corresponding dimension style for each scale.

add ko lang... on layout or paperspace, command MS first to activate modelspace > enter > click on the viewport you want to scale > command Z > enter > if you are using millimeters... after "Z" command > enter > 100/1000xp = 1:100 scale, ung huling values lang ang babaguhin mo bro... like kung gusto mo 1:200 = 100/2000xp, 1:50 = 100/500xp and so on... hope makatulong bro... depende din eto sa dimension style mo bro... particularly sa scale factor
pero kung ang input mo sa model space is 0.10 = 10cm, bale ang ginagawa ko naman ay...
paperspace/layout > MS > enter > then click viewport > Z > enter > 1000/100xp = 1:100mtrs., 1000/200xp = 1:200mtrs., 1000/50xp = 1:50mtrs. and so on... hope hindi magulo hehehe

Re: scaling
actually ibat-iba ang workflows with these. On method im using was this
1.Say i have a floor plan, and that floor plan needs some blow up details.
2. i just create just one floor plan, say 1:100 ang plot scale
3. on my paperspace, i will just create a viewport for the main floor plan at scale 1:100, then i create another viewport at scale say 1:20 ( for blow up details) viewport scale is found on its viewport dialog box.
4. so with these i will create one layer say dimensionlayer1:100, and another layer for dimensionlayer 1:20.
5. go then to paperspace, activates each viewport one at a time then freeze or thaw the dimension layer you dont need.( say for viepwort 1:100, i will freeze / thaw dimension layer 1:20)
6. on dimension, i will just use the standard one for scale 1:100 and if will use one for scale 1:20 i will just create new from it, then adjust only the scale on Overall scale.
this was just some of my workflow, there are a lot of its.
