Texture baking
micha in the podium forum shared this, his workflow basically is from zbrush to sketchup..
this image is just less than a minute to render. surprise!!!
the technique that he is using is basically texture baking. i hope our zbrush experts could help us on this. kita korin yung example ni vertex how to bake texture on low polygonal models.
1.bale ang workflow ay ganito. export zbrush obj file (low poly) unto blender (blender is free).. uv's mapping sa blender at export sa 3ds. to ngayun ang iimport sa sketchup para maging skp.
2. export yung detailed normal zbrush map.. to ngayon ang magiging bump.. ngayon sa podium madali lang ito all you have to do is to name that file na ganito e.g. say yung map na ginamit mo ay face.jpg, i rename mo yung normal map naginagamit mo na face_bumpmap.jpeg.. ilagay mo to the same folder kung nasaan yung diffuse map na ginamit mo.
