sir mush ok din ba 18-105 + any lens not more that SG$400...
kung sakali anong lens ang maidadagdag? o mas ok pa din ang package A?

don't go for the 18-105 or the 18-135. IMHO mas ok pa ang 18-55 kesa sa mga yan.

if you have package A wala ka nang kelangan pa na lens. uve got a normal wideangle, zoom, and a portrait / low light lens already.

eto lang sa aking pagkakaalam Kurt, ang hirap kc idesign ang mga lenses na sobrang lawak ng focal range. napansin mo ung mga prime lenses, dahil fixed focal length sila e sobrang sharp nila at minimum to no distortion at all. kung napansin mo naman ang ultimo zoom na nikkor 70-200mm f2.8 e sobrang complicated ng glass construction nya para ma achieve yung quality ng mga primes (extreme case) throughout its focal range. so kung eto ung pagbabasihan, mas sharp at with less distortion ang mga salamin na maigsi lang ang tinatakbo sa barrel. may iba pang factors na nakaka apekto ng price gaya ng built (mas mahal pag built like a tank o bakal), glass coating (sa nikon ung ED coating ang isa sa mga factors na nagpapamahal sa lenses nila, ung mga primes naman at trinities may special coating na nagpapatotoo sa human skin tones, may mga coating din na malawak ang dynamic range o 'exposure latitude' na tinatawag, ung sigma DG nano coating ay may minimal ideal polarizing effect kaya di mo na kailangan ng CP filter in most cases), number of blades na nakaka apekto ng bokeh (mas marami mas creamy), at marami pang ibang factors. thumbsup

ang dami talagang dapat pag aralan sa photography, kung ganon sir ok ang 18-105? un sana bibilhin ko tapos bili na lang me ng prime lens..50mm f1.8, ok na ok daw kasi un..

i'd go with mushroom's recommendation: first choice is 18-55mm for quality throughout the entire focal range, second choice ung 18-105mm for the extra reach naman. and yes, you won't go wrong with a 50mm prime, a must have.

maraming salamat sir, malamang bukas laman na naman ako ng mga photoshop nito hehehehe... balikan ko ung nag-iisang unit sa cathay marina, kunin ko na ung 18-105 kit, tapos bili me ng prime lens..

if you notice he suggests the 18-55 more than this lens. mas mura na mas ok pa optics. 18-105mm isnt too much of a zoom range.

you want to get more for ur money, do what ariel did. he got the D90 with the 18-55/55-200 combo. these lenses got better optics than the 18-105, for only a fraction of a price. i'd second / third sir tutik's advice din. 18-55 for starters.

check this out din - in alanphoto - the D90 18-105 combo is S$1699, whereas the D90 18-55/55-200 is only S$1819. add S$180, me 50mm prime ka na - swak na sa S$2000 budget mo that u mentioned awhile ago. if you go to lords - (plugging Very Happy

) most likely they can offer u a free SD card, a dry box, a tripod (though crappy), and / or an extra battery.

ayyy mali, 55-200 pla hehehehe.. di ko natanong name pero wala syang salamin. gusto k nga sana ipagpalit ang lahat ng freebies except sa 8G kapalit ng xtra battery kaso ayaw nya, nextweek bili me ng tripod, dricabinet at uv filter, saan kaya pinakamagandang bumili, ung mura uli hehehehe,, medyo mahal kay uncle lord's eh...
