laptop and pc minimum specs for 3D max

mga sir...im not that good in 3d max...but gusto ko po sana mlaman mga sir if anong mgandang specs ng laptop en pc...minimum specs at hanggang sa the best specs....kc ung gmit ko po ngayon is laptop en desktop para sa rendering kso i guess sobrang baba ng specs nya para sa max..kaya d ko mamaximize ung setting ng vray para mkarender ng photorealistic output....maybe soon i'll post some of my works but d po cia gnun kagnda tulad ng mga gawa ng members nyo...kc bago palang ako sa max...en coz of a low specs of comp..kya d makarender ng mgandang 3D..tnx po...

May I ask what do you do in Saudi? If your a 3d renderer I suggest to forget about minimum specs... go for the best money can buy or highest you can afford for that matter. Check the other thread here that says about SHOW ME YOUR RIG.... Ganun ang mga bilhin mo hehehe.

sir im 3D designer,,draftsman/interior designer...bago lng po me sa max...en vray...marunong po ako mag max en vray but not as good sa mga member ng cgp...d ko po kc mamaximize un pagrerender..kc ung gmit ko n pc ang specs is ..core 2duo...nvidia GEForce 8400M GS..
BUT ang RAM ang mababa.. 1GB lng po..pati ung laptop ko..kaya ang bagal magrender..kya d tuloy mka gawa ng scene n mraming object...kc ang bagal...simple scene..minsan 3-5 hours ang inaabot....en minsan max crash...nag close bigla..lalo n pag gagamit ako ng caustic...basta as in mbagal lalo n pag cnsabayan ko ng autocadd...or photoshop...

gus2 ko po sana upgrade ung pc sa office...or magpa2bili nlng po me ng bago..ung mganda ang set up...para sa max...bago lng po kc ung company nmin..1 yr plang...

bro atleast core2quad na ang kunin mo if upgrade ka like core2quad q6600 or q 9400 or higher. ram is also important atleast 4gb ram but u need to have a 64bit os pra magamit mo lahat ang 4gb mo..the higher the ram the better kng malakihan projects nyo.if interiors and resedentials lng pde na 4gb. video card. 512 mb is good enough!please ask the members here on what brand you should get im not really particular with the video card...

anyway, you can run 3dsmax with Pentium D or Athlon64, even trusty old P4 can.. hehe.. Best setup that money can buy is a Core2Duo for tight budget, add a little more and you'll have Phenom2 or Core2Quad..the best you can have today is Intel i7 setup, wont cost you a leg for these beastly setup.. for 50k you'll a decent rendering machine to suffice for another year of upgrade..


what really matter is how badly you need it and how deep is your pocket..

why go for a minimum specs? malaki naman kita ng 3D, wag mong tipirin bro. mag Corei7 ka na para isang bagsak na.

sir necrolyte....oo nga eh mlaki kita sa 3D...kaso ako lng ata ang maliit kita sa 3D..heheheh...liit salary ko d2...hehehe..first tymer kc ako mag wrk abroad...ask 3D designer...and draftsman...but now nagddedesign nrin me...kaya 3D designer..draftsman/interior designer n ko....kso salary ko gnun padin...d nmn tinaasan...hehehehe..kaya d ko p kaya mag set up ng mataas n specs....en 1 yr 5 mnths plang ako d2....hhuhuhuh ....good luck nlng sakin if taasan p nila ko..hehehe..sana...

salamat talaga mga sir.... lam nyo bago lang mimg member. salamat sa inyo plano ko rin kasing bumili nang lapto yung hulugan nga lang pero dahil sa mga message nyo mag iipon na lang muna me... sa aklan kasi me nagwowork medyo di naman kalakasan ang bayad nila sa 3d renderer dito.... pero at least dagdag experience na rin . thanks sa mga message nyo it helped a lot for me to decide
