Re: Proposed Two-storey Dormitory Building (UPDATED)
nagpost din bro... this is much improvement from your last post. try to render this one in man's eye view.. that works really well sa ganitong mga presentation. the bricks material you put, dint really work that well din. d ko rin maintindihan ung light source mo dito bro. it doesnt fit sa building shadow and sa shadow on the road. practice2x lang tau bro...

medyo malakas yata sun mo bro, tone down a bit, check mo na rin ambient mo... na oversharpen mo yung image, kaya very pronounced yung mga edges kung makikita mo halos may outline na ang mga edge... big improvement to compared to your last post...

Re: Proposed Two-storey Dormitory Building (UPDATED)
@sir mokong:
Ikaw ba'y baguhan palang sa max at sa rendering. If yes is your answer, then I suggest, mag standard lighting ka na muna. Start with the basics, pagnahuli mo na yung tamang lighting and images illumination setup, then start working with vray's more advanced features.
Medyo tricky din kasi yung vray sun / vray sky combo. Unlike with standard camera at standard lighting, madaling i-tweak perfect for newbies like us.
It is good to start with the bascis, hindi lahat ng computer may vray, or any of those advanced rendering software. So it is good if you know the basic setups, and can come up with quality up to par with the outputs of those advanced software solution.
Hope this helps.
and now for the comments:
Image is a bit flat...parang pantay yung illumination ng scene, walang depth. I guess dahil sa sobrang brightness, without any contrast. If this was rendered using standard lighting, madali natin matrace and solution. since this is a vray camera/sun thing, well, sa dami ng parameters dun...we would have to see your settings to find out what's wrong. Post mo kaya screen shot sir.
glass shaders need work.
Work on entourage for better composition.
Other comments nasabi na nila. Konting konti na lang.huli mo na to...keep it coming!

Re: Proposed Two-storey Dormitory Building (UPDATED)
big improvements compared to your first post before bro! i just have some comments and tips that will help you.
1. Camera angle - composition is very important in 3d also. It will help you alot if you have a reference before you render. try hanap sa internet or books or magazines.
2. Lighting - its not enough to just put s light on your subject. like ive said you need to have a reference that you need to follow or atleast try to achieve. try to ask this question to your self, is this mood ok for my subject? is this lighting too bright?or too dark? or too flat?? remember if you want your renders to be as photoreal as possible look for a reference and observe the actual light and its shadows.
3. Search for some tutorials on the net and always ask the masters here.
