Calling the Attention of Singapore & Dubai Pipz! - Page 2 Empty Calling the Attention of Singapore & Dubai Pipz!

First topic message reminder :

Hey guys/Sirs/Masters/Kuya`s & Ate`s!

If you're reading this thread, I'd like to thank you in advance for allowing me to steal a fraction of your time. Hitting the link alone means I caught your attention and the fact that you're still reading this already means a lot to me.

I'm hoping to finish my BS Architecture course this school year (crossed-fingers!!), and I am also hoping that before this year ends, I'll be able to fly to Singapore and start working on my career. 2 mos ago, I received an email from a friend asking if I'm interested to work for their company in New York. The offer was a tad bit tempting but I had to let the opportunity slip through my fingers. One reason is, I'm not ready yet (this sums up everything). Second, my uncles want me to work with them in Dubai. I've been reading various posts here in CGP and I've noticed that few of the members are working in either Singapore or Dubai. I always wanted to work in Singapore, I find the country very interesting and beautiful. I think I could easily adjust to its environment. Problem is, wala po ako masyadong kilala doon. Embarassed If I'd insist on going there, what kind of work could I possibly get? I just want to know if it'd be worth the risk. As embarrassing as this sounds, but I'm somehow scared po eh. hehe

One more question, how true is it na pwede na raw po mag-take ng board exam sa Dubai ang graduate sa Pinas? And that if he'd become a licensed architect in Dubai, he could also practice his profession in the Philippines?

Sorry for a very lengthy read. Looking forward to get a positive response from y'all! have a blessed day! Smile

bakit di mo UNANG subukan ang NY... pag ayaw mo na go to SG and madali ka ng makakaadjust dun at mas madali kang makapasok dahil malaking POGI POINTS din pag galing ka at nag trabaho ka sa NY... Smile..

Hehe.
You can always go to SG and Dubai. Hehe.
But NY is maybe a one time thing even with money hindi ganun kadali magkaron ng opportunity to work or migrate sa US.
Always take the most challenging path and test yourself. Very Happy

Very Happy

lahat walang kasiguraduhan... but kung susubukan mo don mo pa lang malalaman ang lahat... iba pa rin kasi na ikaw mismo yun makakaranas na tumuntong sa ibang lupain... ika nga lahat yan charge sa experience good or bad... aside sa advised ng mga good master natin dito... iba pa rin na ikaw ang susubok...Calling the Attention of Singapore & Dubai Pipz! - Page 2 19234Calling the Attention of Singapore & Dubai Pipz! - Page 2 290323

Calling the Attention of Singapore & Dubai Pipz! - Page 2 Empty Re: Calling the Attention of Singapore & Dubai Pipz!

Post by dairybrylle Wed Jan 16, 2013 12:37 am

Hello po mga kuya/ate/friends!

I haven't really made a fixed decision yet but I'm very much determined to go anywhere of the three mentioned countries: Dubai, Singapore, New York. I'm working on my resume right now and am trying to weigh things over at the same time. If I choose NY, it surely would cost me a lot of money before I could really start to work. A bunch of papers must be processed, I don't even know where to start yet. As for Dubai, my relatives could easily get me a job. And perhaps I won't have to face too much trouble in processing my papers. And then all I have to worry about is how to cope up with the environment and emotional factors such as loneliness or depression. Working in Dubai would pave the way for an easy start, don't you think? But if I'd be stubborn enough to go to SG despite the fact that it's gonna be risky on my part, I gotta be ready for consequences that would unlikely welcome me. I'm just glad I know few people from those countries so I'm just gonna send them an email and hope for the best.

Thank you for your replies. I am totally filled with helpful information. Although, I ended up more confused than before, I was able to fetch more reasons as to why I should go abroad (kahit saan dun.hehe). Thank you so much po!! ^__^ .. will let you all know kung matuloy man ako at kung saan din. hehe Wink
