How do you choose to achieve Depth of Field

Would you prefer doing it on photoshop using blur or dof inside max-vray?

I prefer DOF Pro sa photoshop...bakit? kasi mas kotrolado mo ang blur sa likod at harapan.
But be sure na tama din ang pag blur mo kung nag Photography ka alam mo kung papaano
gawin ito check Tutorial kung papaano gumawa ng DOF. Kasi sa Max subrang tagal na
kaya naman gawin sa Photoshop. Marami tayo tutorial technique kung papaano mag Mask ng subject.
Meron sa Max or pwede rin Mano mano. Ang pinaka gusto ko sa DOF Pro maganda ang bokeh effect niya.

I don't see any distinct advantages of doing it straight in the render; i can only think of disadvantages.

• severely increases rendering time
  
• no adjustments once the DOF is rendered (focusing)
  
• you can't remove the DOF
  

On the other hand, doing it in Photoshop (using a Vray ZDepth pass) will give you a whole lot of options.

• You can increase or decrease the f-stop value (using levels) of the ZDepth pass which will result in increasing or reducing the bokeh effect
  
• you can reverse and adjust the focal point
  
• and if you change your mind about having DOF, you can remove it.

For accuracy Max, for more options Photoshop. But I'd go with Post Pro.
