i know malikot ang utak mo bro, but theres no problem with that, dyan kase nanggagaling yung mga matitinding concepts at designs... don't let the building code be a stumbling block... but instead let it be part of your design requirements...
Building code was drafted for thousands of reasons... batas na nga rin yan... many of the issues you've raised has nothing to do with the building code, except the property line, which for obvious reasons it needs to be regulated...

maraming flaws ang code pero its a code...and sa oath naten eh dapat naten sundin ang codes...pero di ito limitation...anyway padating naten na tayo na ang gumagawa ng code eh baguhin naten...ok ba un mga Sir?cha-cha!kung pagaarala naten eh ilang beses pa lang ba nasasaayos ang batas naten?at ilang taon na din tyo ngtatalo dahil sa batas na yan....

maraming sumusuway because may chance na sumuway hehehehhe...for sure need nya sumunod sa batas ng code naten kahit for sure may magaganda syang idea...and for sure din kung may choice sya eh hindi sya gagawa sa phils kasi contrast sa designs nya sa mga codes...maaaring pede malagyan...pede din hindi...depende sa nakaupong municipal officer ng lugar na pagtatayuan nya...un nga ang sinasabi ko maraming mali sa procedure pa lang ng pagkuha ng permit...depende sa nakaupo kung marunong...and did you know na ang building official eh mga engrs kadalasan...lalo na sa mga provincial area...pano mo igigilit na tama ka kung mali ung taong kausap mo...na wala namang alam sa building codes...i have a lot of experience in that...mayron pa silang municipal ordinance...sino na ngayon masusunod?ung building code ng pilipinas o ung municipal ordinance?na humahantong na lang sa lagayan pagdi nagawan ng paraan...pero di pa ako lisensyado nuon hehehehhe gawain ko un kasi ako ung pinahaharap ng boss ko sa mga municipal engr na tuwing akoy dadating sa municipyo eh masaya silang nakatingin saken...ngayon eh di na pepede saken un ngayon!

and as the building code gets blown to pieces heres something to think about;
a GOOD architect/artist/designer/insertyourownpreferredtitle will ALWAYS find a way to work AROUND the restrictions-stumbling blocks-whatever to come up with a great design-piece of work whatever INSPITE of the aforementioned restrictions-stumbling blocks-whatever... he will not WASTE his time trying to lock horns with these restrictions; they're already there and will always be there in some shape or form and what ever country you are in... can't do anything about it short of running for presidency and changing the whole darn code by becoming a dictator... these restrictions are what brings up the CREATIVE JUICES in the artist/designer...
when you obtain the ability to persevere inspite of hindrances, then you elevate yourself from the usual dregs of humanity who ponder at problems instead of finding solutions; in life and in work...
