First topic message reminder :

This was actually my WIP tutorial at Asgvis and would like to migrate here. I know this one will be very useful especially to the new ones who want to explore Vray sketchup. This tutorial was doen using vray Sketchup1 the old version. I hope I could update this as we go on.]

Here is

I am making an attempt to make a tutorial using simple image from displacement to bump, doing some complicated materials to hopefully playing on emissive lighting. I will also explore using double reflections to achieve good metals and other materials. so bear with this simple set up and materials which you can find on typical free sketchup.
typical screen scene.

im attaching the scene first here. rendered in clay style. In order to render achieve clay render you need to tick override materials in the global switches. this scene has been rendered using the default setting except using the viewport size of 958X619.

also im attaching the link for the model so you can do it together with me.

Good day!

Brod Nomer, great tutorial you got right here!!! I know I'm a bit too late, but would like to congratulate you anyway for the achievement and blessing. You truly deserve it indeed!!!

I've seen this tutorial over and over but wasn't really reading through it, But this time, I've been getting very interested with Sketchup and I decided I have to learn from you and Zdesign and the others already... Kaya nandito ako ngayon hehe

OT: I hope you are doing great with MR too by now. I hope we could see some MR tutorials from you soon Smile inuman na

model everything before you use the rendering engine. tapos all you have to do is to put mrectangular or omni lights sa loob. if you are using the recent version then you can put ies lights. kung yung mga ilaw naman ay parepareho pwede mong ipasok yung ilaw sa isang receptacle bago mo gawin syang component. tapos nung yung component nalang ang icopy mo. then kung magadjust ka.. lahat may maadjust. if you have question please put them on Q and A please.

oo nga bro last year actually ang contest na yun... the theme was "renew".. i think what the organizers were thinking was more on the renewal from economic downturn... but my concept is more a renewal from spiritual reality...... "renewed life"

1. was the the first step the renewed "born again experience" with Jesus. In vietnam being born again was translated to Tai SINh.. literally means renewed...if i will paraphrase the good... "you were translated from one world to another" so kung titingan mo yung image.. that was actually the direct meaning.

2. Renew.. do not be conform to the pattern of this world, but be renewed by the transforming of your mind, so that you will able to know what is the good and perfect will of God..."my life verse"..

pag may tanong ka sa SU, i am more than willing to provide you some help.

MR? cant seem find the time bro. para kasing ang daming rendering engine at modelling softs. tapos yung balanse pa sa pamilya.. especially ngayung bakasyon..so hanggan nuod nuod lang ng video at kaunting trial.

Wow, very powerful words from you bro. Just as they always preach in the service, (#2. from your verse) Renew starts from one's self, by making a difference through spirit and by deed, no matter how small or simple one person can do or act, so long as he/she makes a difference for Christ, the world will be renewed too, one person at a time... I am always touched and impacted by the Holy Spirit each time I encounter the Words of God. Glad to know you bro, not only am I inspired of your works as CG Artist but as brother through Jesus Christ as well!

Sige bro, I'll start with SU vray and will soon get in touch with you again for sure... Would try to follow your lead bro, share na lang din ako ng tutorial ng lahat ng natutunan ko sa MR. I am so amazed how you take your steps, I am inspired... as for myself, I know how hard it is and how much dedication it takes to do what you are doing now. Kahit gusto ko minsan, most of the time, time doesn't allow me too... Hopefully soon, magaya kita bro!
