Mga Sir this is my first practice ng exterior rendition using 2010Max and vray 2.0 humihingi po ako ng tips and tuts sa inyong lahat to achieve well photorealistc render. almost 2 weeks na akong nagbabasa sa forum nyo at nagtry. sana po maguide nyo ako from my start up to the end of my thread.

My model is from SU and my accesories are from ****motion. baka kasi bawal un banggitin dito. kaya****. wala din po pala akong budget pambili ng plugins and i know pirated is not allowed here. want ko po talaga matuto sana po matulungan nyo ako.

All i want to achieve is a cloudy scene in the afternoon. like ng mga nakikita kong post ng mga expert dito.

I will follow all advice up to post process and post the image after including your name as a credits. im willing to change everything for the improvement of my first rendition.

MABUHAY CGPINOY

I hope this is not too much to ask. but if i do step over cgpinoy rules please remove my post and im sorry for this.

Maganda na tong set up mo. kailangan mo pa ng more light. try this.

4. Lagyan mo din ng same sphere sa likod, under the tree, para magkaron ng konting depth ang mga puno.

Pwede mo din aralin ang HDRI. Pero kahit after na nitong suggestions ko. Good luck! You're on the right track.

Ito pala if you want to try HDRI.

kung exterior naman madalas vray sun or target light or vray dome light.

Good luck! Looking for CGPinoy support for a noob like me 290602

- big improvement!

some suggestions to improve more at maging photo real:

- simulate dirt with ambient occlusion sa mga corners. check this good tutorial : http://www.cgpinoy.org/t19177-concrete-with-fading-dust-effect

- use photoshop sa mga materials add some details like cracks, dirt, etc....

- vray sun with hdri environment.

goodluck!

Here is my another update post. still working for this.

i already change the road detail and the fence and put some materials. add sun with small amount of lights i only want to cast a small shadow for a cloudy effect scene. yung mga falling leaves ko muka ba syang leaves? para kasing nagmukang basura. yung nasa center part na nagkumpulan.

special thanks to the FF.

Road Puddle tuts by 3d Zone

Ambiant lighting tips by Omans

Artedesenyo tips for additional improvements.

Im planing to workout with some plants and grass but naghahanap pa ako ng magandang way for this specialy grass.

again still requesting comments for improvements

oh before i forget design of the building is not mine. i just saw this when i pass by riding my boss car. kaya pagdating ko sa office minolde ko agad..kung sino man meari nito paumanhin dahil pinagpraktisan ko. at salamat nadin.

I think you need a better hdri or increase the illumination, sunny days are always better than rainy days in visualization. Looking for CGPinoy support for a noob like me 290602

Very big improvement indeed. Here are some of my comments:
1. Good job on the texturing. You've made a big leap from the original image. but the weathering of the concrete is too much for me (except if that is what you really wanted to achieve) but if it is for a client presentation I would want it to look a little cleaner.. with just a hint of weathering.
2. Your road area is perfect.
3. the stone clad on the fence looks a little bit flat. add a bump of displacement map and also a little bit of reflect + specular will do I think?
4. You need to put some elements in the inside of the house plus lighting - this for me will make this a lot more realistic.
5. Try to add more variation of plant species in both foreground and background.
6. For the lighting.. I think it's a little bit bright for a cloudy scene, or is it because the background is bright? I'm not sure but you could try lowering the intensities of both hdr and sun and depend more on artificial lights.
7. a little bit of post process work to enhance the beauty of your scene.

That's it for me. Overall you've done a very good job and you should continue doing so. You are in the right track.

wow a quantum leap improvement! you might as well look/download the book "vray the complete guide" as your learning aid. All parameters of vray are explained there. As for me its better to understand what the parameters are for so that you will know what parameter you are to adjust when faced with some problems on your render output like grainy image, light leaks, color bleeding etc.
