Re: Animation Problem
Pagnag-off, wala na yun. Pero pag kinancel mo sadya. Ok pa yun. Yun lang ang naging experience ko.
Kaya dapat yung save as tif ang ginawa mo, saka ipagkabit kabit sa After Effects. Dun kasi, sure ka na pag nag-off man, may output ka pa din.
Isa pang solution bro, I-off mo or gawing manual ang windows update.

Re: Animation Problem
bro mataas ba yung video card mo? try mo "make preview" under animation tab. maganda yung quality nyan pag mataas yung video card. technically pang preview lang sya ng animation mo pero pwede nang pagtsagaan sya since yan yung scenerio mo. nagsesave sya sa.
my docs>3d max>previews

pwede ba yan ipasok sa Flash di ako marunong mag after effects hahahah....
Thanks bro boks the best ka talaga!!!!!

God Bless

Thanks bro!
Re: Animation Problem
hehe...ok yan boks pag nagtetest ka ng animation specially yung takbo ng camera mo yan. may iba ibang type ng preview pwedeng yung surface lang or wireframe lang gusto mo makita. pag natapos syang make preview automatic syang mag play. default nya windows media player. kailangan mo e-copy agad yun kasi pag nag preview ka ulit automatic nyang e-overwrite yung file. so kung marami ka nang nagawang camera na may animation ok sya gamitin pang dagdag ng effect nga sa after effects. Good luck boks.

You can "rename" the default preview scene [_scene.avi] from the same menu you initiated the previews.
You can also render out preview to various formats or sequenced image files.
The lesson for today is to never ever render your previews or finals using a movie format such as AVI. Always make it a point to render in sequenced image files.
Re: Animation Problem
Di kasi ako marunong mag after effects.
thanks loverboy and friends.

Videopost in Max or use the Composite Package that came with the Max installers.

Nakalimutan kong sabihin, if you want to be adventurous, you can also use the mighty MATERIAL editor to composite your renderings. Remember right-clicking the slot and choosing render image?

inaral ko yan bro...you mean animation scene ba or image sa Material slot pwede mag stitch. Sorry pwede po ba
paki explain pa....Hahahah TIA

Re: Animation Problem
This is another way to stitch or composite rendered image sequences using the Material Editor kung wala kang AF or mahal mo lang talaga ang 3dsmax:
1. Select an unused slot in the material editor.
2. Add a Composite Map in any slot of the Material. e.g Diffuse slot
3. While at the topmost level of the Material, drag this the Composite Map to any available slot.
3. Use the composite map and add layers depending on the number of image sequences you like to stitch.
4. In each slot of the Composite Map, add a Bitmap loader and load your sequence.
5. Change the frame number you want this image sequence to start by modifying the frame number value in the Time parameters of the Bitmap loader (Make sure you chose the End Condition "Hold" para hindi mag-loop ang image sequence)
6. Do the same thing for the other sequences.
7. Once you are done, go back to the topmost level of the Composite Map, right click the slot, choose "Render Map"
8. Change rendering size as desired and choose an output path.
9. Hit render and wait.
Hope this makes sense.

Well, you may render out to sequences, AVI or Quicktime (if you are using a 32-bit machine). I prefer quicktime over AVIs because of the limited codecs available for the latter.

This is cool. Very useful. Not just advanced. Hope to learn more tricks..Thanks Sir V.

Re: Animation Problem
Apologies to the thread starter:
This particular functionality in 3dsmax (render map) allows you to collapse your complicated materials into a single image or sequence, thus speeding up rendering time. It also minimizes RAM usage because MAX no longer need to load multiple texture images to produce a single bitmap during rendering.
Also, think of the Composite Map as a mini-photoshop in 3dsmax. You can also use the layers to combine images using various methods found in PS or AFX such as additive, multiply, screen etc.
This is also a good way to create dirtmapped textures on the fly. e.g Dirtmap on top (mulitplied) over a diffuse image...
There's a lot of possiblities and as I always say, there's a million ways to do the same thing in 3dsmax..
I'm glad to be of help.
