animation in 3ds max

hello there colleagues. I am trying to experiment about animation and testing myself. I already read and watched a couple of tutorials about controllers and stuffs. My problem is I want to create an animation of a car driving and will stop on a service entrance. I know how i will do this by means of position and orientation constraints on car and wheels with path constrains to the cars path. My problem are:

How will I bring the service crew lifting a box and putting it (maybe link constraints to the hand then link it to the world?) to the car trunk
(how can I open the car trunk by the first service crew as well as close it by the last service crew? ).
