vray light leaks and color bleed?

sir/mam, ask ko lang po kung paano ko masosolve itong light leak between two intersecting objects (modeled in max2008, render in vray 1.5 sp2) same as the color bleed? marami pong salamat in advance, more power to cgpinoy.org!!! mabuhay po tayong lahat!!!

try mo vraymaterial override, baka mawala. or, gawin mong 0.01 ang shadow bias ng ilaw mo. good luck!

I don't see any pic here right now, but if I understand your question, color bleeding is what you get because of the second bounce parameter. If you lessen the value - the resulting indirect illumination will be lessened. You could do it globally via the Global Illumination Properties or per object by right-clicking your object > Vray properties and lessening the Receive GI value.

For light leaks, its always a good thing to model your objects and walls and ceilings in a way that they always intersect - in the meantime, I can only try suggesting increasing the Secondary Ray bias to something like .001 from the default zero. You'll find that parameter under Vray:Global Switches > Raytracing.
