Quikie Interiors in Mental Ray

Hi veryone..

its been sometime since I last posted.

Here are 3 quick renders done in mentalray.
All are in 3k resolution rendered in around 4 hours each using a 5 yr old machine ( Dual opteron procs dual cores).

These are for a brochure somewhere and they wanted the renders in black and white.

Credit to myaeonfluxproject for the initial setup on this view. She was not able
to finish it due to an urgent project. I just took over to finish this view as it was also urgent.

Very nice MR sir.. i like everything, but i notice some white spot in your reflection, maybe it's because of your low interpolation sample in material reflection.

yeah..there are some white spots due to the low sample. sharp eyes!

ganda lahat ng render sir.. sir comment lang sa 3rd image. ganun ba talaga yung carpet??.. kasi parang may wave effect.. anyhow.. great work sir

ayos! pasadong pasado! yung carpet lang sa 3rd image sir! ^_^

hehehe..the carpet was made using hair and fur then brushed to have that "sinuklay" effect. not all carpets naman are perfectly combed and straight.

hmmmm! sir siops tagal naman ng paramdam nyo i think the last time was the pool pa ba?yun from the magazine pa ata yun if i remember kahit mejo starting na tayong ng forty's ehh naalala ko pa rin ang kagalingan nyo mula pa ng 3dp ha ha ha, post pa sir yung nasa cavan nyo pa alam ko marami pa yan dyan ehhh, ha ha ha ha, ang mga officemates na matitindi! impressive works as ever ..

i'm an MR user also...and glad that dumarami na tayo...way to go jovanici...great output sir keep it up...i'll PM you and ask for some tips on settings if it's alright....

@vonlorena: sure no problem. Glad maraming MR user din dito. all render engines are the same naman, iba iba lang naman ang pindutan.

yaaaaahhh!!! parang nawalan na ako ng gana mgpost dito ng aking MR works ah, huhuhuhu...kahit black & white, bow pa rin ako!! kung pwede lang 3 thumbs up, ginawa ko na! hehehehe!! another inspiring MR work bro!!

Nice. Nasabi na mga comments about the glossies at carpet.
Second image kulang sa contact shadows lalu na sa mga paa ng furnitures.
