Thesis query

Mga sir di pa po ako thesis pero gusto ko po sana maka-isip na po ako ng probable subject para makapagcollect na rin po ako ng data.

Kausap ko po kanina yung dean ko and yung thesis prof po namin. he asked me what kind of thesis I want to do. Sabi ko po Hospital o kaya po rennovation ng historical underground tunnel. Sabi po niya panget daw po ng subject ko dapat daw po tropical and katamtaman lang daw ang laki. Sabi ko po condo na lang. Sabi po niya walang challenge. I'm confused, paano po ba mamili ng subject of your choice?

Sir ang gusto ko po sana is incorporation of nature, architecture and technology. Yung tipo pong architecture can withstand calamities offered by nature but at the same time preserve it and maximized both the use of nature and technology. I was thinking of "high performance" - sustainable, innovative technology, and universal....

yup.. green architecture should be incorporated sa project.
waht i mean is kung ano ang theme ng thesis niyo.. e.g. institutional, open theme, entertainment.. ^_^..

Well sir, di pa po ako thesis so wala pa po ako nung thesis theme... kinausap lang po ako ng dean ko kanina and told me to provide him kung ano raw po ang gusto ko gawin sa thesis ko. Nacurious lang po ako kung paano po maghanap ng magandang subject... since all the things and ideas na prinoproposed ko sakanya... he keeps on telling me one thing "panget daw po subject ko and walang challenge" then he said he will give me time to think about a subject na di daw po niya pagtatawanan pag meron na raw po ako sabihin ko daw po sakanya.

You can not do this if you are doing a hospital or a condo or a restoration ng historical site na underground, so confusing talaga.

First, Clear na na gusto mo ng green architecture as mentioned above. Now think of something na magbenefit ang Filipino people or the nation sa gagawin mo. Maganda na yung could withstand calamity, then what's next. Siguro something that could also sustain not just withstand. Ganun dapat ang view mo habang nagiisip ka. Something new and incredible. Bigay ka lang ng example na kung saan interested ka then gagawin nating challenging. Good luck!

Sana nga po pag nagthesis na ako ...fit sa theme namin So kung ito po yung gagawin kong thesis... dapat po magfocus ako sa behavior analysis ng mga squatters.... tama po ba? hehe

I don't think meron pang them. I think ang mga students ang magdictate ng themes. Kasi i-categorize ang mga thesis according to themes. so madaming themes.

Pwede. Pero isang part lang yan. Obvious naman kasi na katamaran ang main reason nyan. Madali lang aralin ang katamaran. Focus more on kung papano mo sila mababago. Teach them how to fish ika nga.

I don't think meron pang them. I think ang mga students ang magdictate ng themes. Kasi i-categorize ang mga thesis according to themes. so madaming themes.

ah.. ok po sir.. sa amin kasi po ngayon sir boks may theme every year. ^_^..

Siguro po sir boks lack of capital kaya tinatamad din po silang magtrabaho and also maybe due to the prescence of gambling within that area. So maybe kapag binago yung environment and nag-incorporate ng source of income within the area...baka magtry silang magchange.... heheh

Just a simple advice:

If you are doing a thesis alone, come to think of it na kaya mo lalo na kung mag-isa ka lang. Marami ang di pumasa kasi dahil sa di nila nakayanan at the end. You have to consider the time constraints also, bear in mind the deadline and make sure that you will finish it on time. Nasa isip na nating mga Arki na kung kailan malapit na ang deadline saka mag rush to finish it, in which this makes your work chaotic causing to panic at bad result.

Green Architecture is on my mind for a topic, sure it's a hit!

ayun nga din po sir yung nasa isip ko... Time constraints... so since hindi pa po ako thesis ngayon... nag-iisip na po ako para po makakuha po ako ng mga resources regarding dun sa subject na gagawin ko and I'll try to focus on that subject more...

ayun nga din po sir yung nasa isip ko... Time constraints... so since hindi pa po ako thesis ngayon... nag-iisip na po ako para po makakuha po ako ng mga resources regarding dun sa subject na gagawin ko and I'll try to focus on that subject more...

Kapag di ko po siguro kinaya na maghanap ng ganoong mga resources and then di ko din po kinaya yung mismong subject, I'll look for another one..but since I still do have time ... susubukan ko po maghanap ng mga resources regarding this

Aralin mo yung rags to riches project nila sa smokey mountain, gumagawa sila ng fashion statement out rags. At yung water lily bags project ng Las Pinas. Basura lang ang source nun, pero I think nagkaincome sila.

Tama, pwede din to. Lalo na ngayon malaking problem nila sa makati. Yung pipeline na butas.
