Philippine Immigration Empty Philippine Immigration

Post by Anjie Thu Oct 07, 2010 10:46 pm

Nandito po ako ngayon sa Pinas and my husband is presently working in Abu Dhabi as engineer with residence visa. He's planning to sponsor me with a husband visa and hopefully makaalis na ako dito pinas by december. I have my marriage certificate autheticated already by the DFA and UAE embassy. I also renewed my passport using my spouse surname.

Ang sabi ng husband ko, he will apply for my entry visa at un ang ipepresent ko sa immigration temporarily, then pagdating ko sa UAE, i will apply for my resident/husband visa at dun na tatakan ung passport ko ng VISA..Tama po ba?

Im looking forward to your reply regarding my concerns. Thank you! Smile

im planning also to take my wife, pero sa case ko naman susunduin ko po sya sa december at sabay kami pabalik dito sa dubai sa january.

Tama po yung proceso ma'am..pag may entry permit na po kayo, okay na po yun..Just add'l info..pag nag-apply dito mister mo kailangan din yung Original Marriage Cert. niyo autenticated by ministry of foreign affairs dito sa UAE para makakuha siya ng entry permit then ipadala na lang po sa inyo all doc's after at ipakita niyo na lang po passport at entry permit sa immigration..pag andito na kayo magpapa-medical po kayo para for application naman po ng Husband Visa. Hope nakatulong,Goodluck and Godbless! Smile

Thank you po Jehan & Brodger, I really appreciate your replies. By the way, if in case na tatanungin ako if i intend to work in UAE, should I deny it or ok lang na sabihin ko na i also have plan to work there?

One thing more, do i need to present valid IDs matching my surname with my passport? Kase kakarenew ko lang ng passport ko para machange ung status and surname ko (using my spouse surname). Yung ibang valid ids ko like PRC id, ung maiden name ko pa ang nakalagay, and if ipapachange ko kase it will take 3 months bago ko makuha ung id.

But for sure tawag po kayo sa kinauukulang ahensiya.

Afaik, this is untrue. Mas advantage pa nga kung you are under your spouse visa (husband/wife visa). You can leave anytime the company you want kasi the company is not liable for you. They cannot impose a BAN or whatsoever. BUT, if your husband's visa is canceled definitely your visa will be canceled as well. This is usually most of our kababayan are doing, when they get hired by a company, they just work without transferring their visa.

I am talking based on experience from friends and colleagues. In my case, I am under a company's visa because when I joined my current company I was still a bachelor. My wife is under her company's visa as well. If I want to cancel my current visa(employment) pwede rin and transfer to my wife but I chose not kasi both my company and my wife are not on that stable, you know what I meant. This is another factor then. Very Happy

Just to clarify my previous statement. A holder of a husband visa is not allowed to work (and it is stated in the visa) unless got an NOC no objection certificate from your husband. You can work as husband visa but your company must change it to working visa but mostly prefer's not. Just tryin to help,am not an authority, you can check this link's ma'am mybe it would help.Godbless!
