Dear Sirs and Masters,

I'm kinda having a problem with my final rendering on my images...

The problem is - Grains occur on reflective surfaces and walls... I use wall paint (for walls) and Arch&Design (clear solid glass)...

My settings:

1.) Daylight + Mr Sky Portal

2.) 3rd stage (scroll) of Final Gather on the Final Gather Roll-out (Default settings - "High") - I don't do tweak it manually - I use the default slides Rolling Eyes hehe (I'm a noob..LOL)

3.) 1 and 16 - Sampling

4.) Mitchell - Renderer

5.) 7.7 - Exposure Level

6.) 64 - shadow samples >>> Mr Sun and Mr Sky Portal

I think sa sampling yan. use 12-16 pro unfortunately, medyo tataga ang render mo.

Don't ever use the High settings ... use low settings with high bounces 2-4 for testing . 6 for high quality .. try to use the ambient occlusion inside each A&D material for give you much detail .. if your rendering and exterior use FG only .. if interior FG+GI ... for GI use higher samples for PHOTONS ... check also the lights you have make sure you use the ray traced shadows and tweak the density to give you soft shadows ... depends on the scene .. for exposure control try to use the preset first then do some tweaking until you get what you want..

Ah para san po pla yung bounces sa final gather? As in literally magba-bounce po yung FG points ganun po ba? hehe

And I use Mr Sky portal + Daylight po.. Wala po atang raytraced shadow sa Mr Sky and Mr Sun - Pero meron pong "shadow samples" and "soft shadows" - yun po bale yung tini-tweak ko Rolling Eyes

Yung sa AO po, pwede po ba 32 samples and 0 po yung max distance?
