@Akira: bosing hindi dual gpu yan kung di ako nagkakamali Dual ung model name kasi dual fans and dual bios yata: stock and OCed, marketing label lang ung Dual parang Quad series ng Gigabyte mobos. Kung dual gpu sya dapat mae-enable mo CrossfireX.

@necrolyte: not sure what you mean kasi hindi naman ginagamit sa rendering GPUs unless RTSquare gamit mong plugin. Like I said, I'm using a 4850 in Max 2009 coming from 8800GTS 640 and wala naman akong problems related sa display/viewport and actually mas mabilis sya even after I modded the 8800 into an emulated Quadro. I have friends din na gumagamit ng ATI cards with no problems so ang naiisip ko lang baka sobrang low-end/old models ang nagagamit ng mga kakilala mo, mahirap kasi sa pinas madaming manloloko na pc shops, lalo na pag hindi ka familiar bibirahan ka ng mga technical jargon para isipin mo na maganda ung binebenta sayo.
Pahabol lang mga bosing, ang sinasabing hindi detected sa gpu-z ung shader clocks and gaya ng nabanggit ko supposedly same speed un ng core clocks so hula ko di na inilagay ni w1zzard kasi redundant na, pero malay ko ba talaga hehe, kita naman kasi sa upper part ng gpu-z 800 unified shaders.

ah okay.. now it's clear na.. i though dual means dual GPU.. anyways the card is performing great great great naman sa mga games, ewan lang sa mga susunod na bago pa.. sa PCHub ko rin nabili card ko, recommended talaga...

sakin based on experience.. naka 4870 ako dati grabe ang lag sa 3dsmax 2009 baka xp 64 bit ako team xtreem 4 gig.. sobra sa grabe sa lag 1 million polys pa lng nag lalag na. kaya binenta ko sya nag shift ako sa mas lower sparkle 8600 gt.. nag 2-4 million poly ako okey pa den sya..
d naman po ako newbie sa 3d so alam ko kung anu yung nag lalag sa screen ko. wala ako comment sa 4870 sa games farcry 2 and crysis playable sobra. pagdating lng sa 3dsmax nyay ko po..

Naga-update ako every month sir necro, 8.12 na ngayon, ung 8.7 un ung first driver ata para sa 4800 so mejo luma na. Pero mabagal din ung Max2009 sakin before ako mag-update ng 3dmax2k9 service pack 1, so try siguro ng friend mo update ung program nya.
Gamit ko Vista64 4gb ram din lang always updated. Another observation sa 3dmax, madami syang quirks. Nagpadala ng file ung friend ko 1mil+ polys lang ambagal sa viewport, ginawa ko merge ko sya sa new file bumilis so madaming pwedeng reason

sir... gamit ko palit radeon HD4850... so far so good... kaya no worries muna ako for now... waaaaa... sana mag tuloy2x.. pra di na bili bagong card... im using 3dsmax2009... 1st observation... na medyo un usual.. pag mag load ako ng max... ung perspective view... matagal mag load... hmmmm... pero rendering time.. ok namn... what do u think!!! any assessment bout that...

at 4ghz, you need better cooler than air.. you might be interested with watercooling, duh its not cheap..
here's my air recommendation
- Thermalright 120 Ultimate Extreme Black - legendary, for almost 4years, this cooler is the king of the hill
- Xigmatek Thor's Hammer - recently phenomenal for its direct heatpipe
- Coolermaster V8 - preety darn cheap, im not recommending V10 because of its sheer size, and efficiency to its price..
be sure you'll use high cfm fans to par with this coolers.. or else you'll not maximize its potential power
hth.

CPU - sa ngayon best value sa quad core ung Q6600, ok sana ung newer models (Q9xxx) kaso masyado silang mahal para small gains, but these new models are cooler and less power hungry.
Motherboard - P45 chipset sir, wag ka papabulag sa mga mamahaling motherboard na daming features na di mo kailangan. Brands na ok para sakin asus, msi, gigabyte, biostar saka foxconn. Ung mga cheaper brands pwede din siguro pero wala akong experience sa ganun and usually cheaper brands = cheaper components tulad ng capacitors etc.
Memory - Sa value rams, kingston, sa pagkakaalam ko lifetime warranty naman kingston. Kung gusto mo mag overclock atleast DDR2-800 pero kung hindi naman pwede na ung DDR2-667. 2x2gb sticks dahil recommended ko at least 4gb ram mura naman DDR2 ngayon e hehe.
Graphics Card - kahit di ka gamer kelangan mo pa din research to, madami kasi mahilig manloko na shops lalo na kung di mo alam kung anong gusto mong bilhin. Napansin ko din mas mahal nvidia cards dito sa pinas pero hindi ibig sabihin nun mas maganda so focus ako sa ATI card.
4670 512mb panalo tong card na to for 4,000 pesos. Wag ka papauto sir pag binobola ka tapos nagbabanggit ng mga 128bit or 256bit, or 512mb ram and 1gb ram, lahat ng specs na to depende sa architecture ng chip and madami-dami na nabobola sa ganitong raket (bayaw ng kuya ko, di kasi nagtatanong). Pwede na din siguro ung Nvidia na 9500GT pero kung maglalaro ka ng mga games masyadong mabagal un.
Power Supply (PSU) - mukhang ok na ung mga HEC branded na psu, pero kung gusto mo talaga reliable quality recommend ko ung Corsair brand, ung 450w na model nasa 3,300 pesos lang. Pero wag mo sayangin pera mo sa mga 1000w models hehehe, unless gusto mo mag Tri-SLI or Quad Crossfire
Hard drives - paborito ko ung western digital ko na 640GB, mataas platter density kaya mas onti platters na kelangan so mas malamig ung hard drive kahit mas malaki capacity. Pero di ka magkakamali basta bibilhin mo WD or Seagate wag lang Maxtor, pinaka-maingay kong naging hard drive maxtor saka mas madalas masira. Ung Samsung mukhang maganda din ung drives nila lalo na ung F1 series pero di pa ko nakakasubok.
Optical drives - sa ngayon Pioneer lang binibili ko, basta ang pinaka-ayaw kong brand na nabili ung Asus hehe, di kami magkasundo.
Haba ng post ko, madaldal kasi ako pag ganito usapan hehe.

Mga masters pa CnCs nman ng machine ko, especially master insurgent. Im using 3dsMax09/Vray 1.5 sp2., sketchup and ACAD. Konteng games like NBA 2k10. thanks

kung CPU lang, di na kasama yung monitor at ibang accessories, pwede ka mag Corei5 na rig. dagdagan mo lang ng konti yang budget mo para makabili ka ng maayos-ayos na brand/model ng motherboard at RAM.
wag kang mag value ram, try mo yung DDR3 ng Gskill Trident or Kingston HyperX. o kaya yung Patriot.
sa motherboard naman, pwede kang mag Gigabyte or MSI, swak sa budget. wag ka ng mag ASUS, mahal. mapapa "asus!" ka sa presyo. LOL
pwede din EVGA kung may konti kang pandagdag.
kung CPU lang, di na kasama yung monitor at ibang accessories, pwede ka mag Corei5 na rig. dagdagan mo lang ng konti yang budget mo para makabili ka ng maayos-ayos na brand/model ng motherboard at RAM.
wag kang mag value ram, try mo yung DDR3 ng Gskill Trident or Kingston HyperX. o kaya yung Patriot.
sa motherboard naman, pwede kang mag Gigabyte or MSI, swak sa budget. wag ka ng mag ASUS, mahal. mapapa "asus!" ka sa presyo. LOL

lalo akong nalilito pag nagoonline researche ako....
maganda po ba ung evga? magkano kya aabutin? naghahanap ako online ng mabibilhan dito pinas wala akong makita...

planning to build sana, budget is 40k, i7 gusto ko, tngal muna vcard, gamitin ko muna cguro ung dati ko, saka na ako upgrade, balak ko sna gumamit ng generic casing, kaso nasasayangan ako, plus tama po kay ung online computation ng sa antec para sa psu? kasi andun aabot 760w minimum, msyadong mahal ung 1000w psu's...
