At 38? i"m freakin 45 (almost)... More of a shift of interests I hope rather than retirement per se... Talent... Sayang...

I think its the insides of our betlogs that causes this uneasy, pain in our sikmuras. Like pumping air into a balloon and you feel it stretch about to explode. I've been there my friend not so many moons ago. I've been there like everyday.

Maybe we should put on a show or a club. How shall we name it cloudy?

Short of hijacking mushr.... errr Celes' thread; I would have been very disappointed if you didn't show up master Roy... Yup still remember kailang lang your practically almost turning your back on all of this... I'm there now... Though I wouldn't ever wanna go through what you guys went through; practically the whole gamut of this biz... I would've imploded...

A travellin' show would be forkin' nice...

To preserve the status quo; that scanline render really rocks dude...

I will agree with you masters the scadline rendering rocks, without your narrative it would be mistaken as purely vray output... thanks master celes for sharing your previous render, your such an inspiration to us, i've been working with 3d rendering about 6 months ago and i'm about to lower my flag having hard time pulling my trigger to start with..but its never to late to rediscover interesting world of 3d visualization... galing!

Meron palang scanline and lightscape. I had never had the slightest idea that such rendering apps existed! Grabe sa edad kong ito and dami ko pang hindi alam! The end na ba? Wala na ba kasunod or part two?

klarong klaro ang timeline dito bro. Jack of all trades master of all ka talaga. Wag ka muna magretire, hintayin natin ang software na magpapataob sa vray. haha. Love all the renders bro. Marami pa akong gustong sabihin but I think only the senior citizens can comprehend. Lest I be judged a crazy old fart.
Sometimes, we come across situations that suddenly bring change in our daily routine. Suddenly the perception is changed. You try to react in the manner you're used to and it doesn't work. You feel the walls closing in on you.

Your world is now so alien and you cannot find the meaning of whatever you're doing. You could not find the same passion.

My advice - Go to the mountains, forget the world for a moment, go into seclusion and you'll let the passion find you back...

thanks for the insights guys. lightscape was by far one of the best and cleanest GI renderers but the interface is dragging to use. would ve been good if they developed it further, but of course among the current GI renders nothing beats the speed and ease of use with Vray. (There is no argument to this, sorry to the Brazil and Maxwell lovers.:p)

as for the ot-but-spot-on replies (cloud, vertex, bokkins, arkibons, 3dpjumong, kettle) - to the mods, if you feel that the topic is moving towards another direction you are free to move this to the appropriate section (perhaps the CG discussion or tambayan area) as this thread means more than the renders posted.

i shall come back with my replies at a later time. for now work got in the way.

same here arkibons im one of your fans with your amazing skill. good to have somehow helped you along the way. the effect is mutual (the newbies inspire and help me discover new stuff constantly) - in this industry as what vertex always declares: you are only as good as your last render.

hehe wala na.. unless you can grab an old copy. make sure you got a 3.5" floppy drive though. :p
