rendering speed problem

im rendering an interior scene on a 2048x1536 and its taking me 4-5 hours. my cpu is quad q9550 and 4gb ram. ir is set to normal and lc to 500 subds. only 3 to 4 photometric lights at most. normal po ba yun? any tips nman po for faster rendering without sacrificing quality.

possible naman na ganun katagal dahil sa size ng image at sa ir.

other factors affecting the rendering are yung mga glass components mo at mga reflections.

what you can do is babaan mo ang ir mo to very low. i think ok pa din ang quallity nyan. i use that all the time. good luck.

masyado mataas ang subdvision nyo po sir ba or mam??
pede naman 10-12 lng..
ingat din sa mga blurry rlfctions..isa yan sa mga ngppbgal ng rendering..

vray proxy makes you file lighter especially kapag may mga copied object ka. anyway see more info regarding vrays proxy sa tutorial section

Check mo rin ang shadows ng photometric lights mo. Pag shadow map instead of vray shadow, babagal nga yan. For interiors di mo maiwasan ang glossy materials esp kung gusto mong photoreal ang renders mo so kahit ung mga glossy subdvs iset mo rin ng 8 lang.

kakainggit naman yung PC mo, Madam Ichi. hehehe Quad core, tapos 4 GB pa yun RAM. hai... Yung sakin po Dual Core 1.8 lang and 2 GB RAM. Pero nakakapagrender po ako ng interior scene with heavy lightings and objects ng 1 or 1 1/2 hour or let's say 2 is enough. Kasi di ko naman po masyado pinapalaki yung image maliban lang if kitang kita ang details. Aabutin talaga ako ng siyam siyam. hehehe

go to setting in render set-up
if your are using 4gb ram then you can adjust your dynamic memory from 1000mb to 3000mb
then you can adjust the max.tree depth from 60-100
