FILE LINK QUESTION( aoutocad to max)
guys...i need help badly...i'm trying to import a lot model from autocad to 3dsmax...
but 3ds max says,....
the incoming model measures 2627513.75x3932327.0x107467.031
you may experience numeric accuracy problem with viewport manipulation tools and during rendering
would like to continue....
of course i liked to continue...so i hit yes from the file link question...
the problem is mas doesn't want to import it...or trying to import it but its always stock to 33%, 44%.....
can you please help me with this one

1. always set the model at 0,0 axis. sometimes our model in autocad are to far from zero origin, the tendency, 3d max will read such reference thinking that your model are measures from zero origin the the uppermors corner of your model
2. use convert when file linking. when your model in autocad is in mm or cm, convert it to your 3d max unit system.
3. in case you have a lots of curves and arcs on your model, try to reduce its facetres and viewres by lowering its amount. this is good only if your aiming to render it in autocad.
4. do not include unnecessary layers, purge them out in autocad

Ayun na heed master Rendermaster's tips...
Personally I use meters for my units, be it cad or max... When I file link i always resize to meters...

it works! yung file link manager....now my problem is my model came out with a cube...and i can't delete it..that cube isn't there at my cad model...
