Hi guys just practiced some techniques in post, two different interpretations of a day-sunset-dusk-night scene. This is the house used in the Korean movie Il Mare (a better version of the Lake House, IMO :p)

i love this artwork as well how i love the movie... just add "cola" her lil'dog

actually i did the modelling of this house before for my practice works, i just didnt have the guts to finish it..

it wasnt the tree that almost killed me, but the mailbox - so good ol pal eng helped me with it.

also struggled with those pebbles - it isn't very obvious here but simulating an "almost" low tide is harder than one thinks. but doable of course.

here's an update again - seems like the night scene looks anime - ish.. im not complaining, i kinda like how it turned out:

yes sherwyn ito ung architect, sa korean version si lee jung ae un (kahawig ni rustom bago siya naging transformer).

wow bumilog ulo ko dun sir cloud.. hehe.. thanks pero im still learning.

1. stones - asteroid generator. go to http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/asteroid-generator it's a simple script. once uve done a few then you can create proxies with it. scatter em everywhere. make sure they are on diff levels so that some are submerged in water.

2. BG is plain ol vray sky - no HDRI this time.

3. interiors - hmm aint got enough reference for that.. maybe ill just do one by myself.. hehe
