importing autocad to 3d studio max

Kindly, share ur techniques on how to start a scene on max
for sure madami pa rin gumagamit ng ganitong workflow;
ano ba tama settings sa max units kung mm./cm. ang gamit mo sa dwg.
at paano import sa max ng maayos?
Minsan ksi ayaw mag insert ng dwgs.ano ba ang mga dapat iconsider
