the last airbender movie, movie version of the Avatar: the last airbender cartoon on nick, fan po ako ng avatar at ayoko nung casts! Hindi sinunod ni m.night shyamalan yung original,, btw meron po bang nanood ng avatar dito?

AKo sir, favorite show ko din yung avatar na cartoons, talagang astig yung concept. Pero for now reserve ko muna opinion ko sa movie. I'm not sure pa kasi kung anu ang kalalabasan... hehehe

First of all, I'd like to say I don't watch avatar.

Well, look at it this way. It won't turn into a crappy day dreaming, delivering depressing punch lines hero movie like Dragon Ball Evolution or DoA.

Another thing, the film crew and concept department are very very good. The movie is in great hands. Well, you got M.Night who has full creative control, an art director who worked in the Golden Compass and an academy award winner DoP who worked in LoTR. This movie will win awards or at least be nominated in the Academy.

m night didnt direct the golden compass, it was directed by chris weitz actually.

ok btw im a fan of avatar and i know every detail in the series, my problem sir is m night cant understand even small thing like Katara and sokka is tanned, second, zuko and most of the firenation people are white, not indians, its asian inspired and the ones who are playing the roles are mostly americans!

im not saying it should be exactly like the cartoon, i just want it to be better and more accurate, i dont think m night watched the whole series

I meant (art director) Richard Johnson worked on Golden Compass. And Andrew Lesnie won an academy award for his Director of Photography work in LoTR:Fellowship of the Rings.

Yeah, I understand your point. The studio and executives might have a hand on the casting. 'could be marketability reasons. It's been a 'trend' in adaptations and will continue for Akira (Leo) and Cowboy Bepop (Reeves). Well, you better get used to it because the title is going to be a trilogy!
