Raytracer - Out of Memory Empty Raytracer - Out of Memory

Post by A.K.A. Thu Dec 03, 2009 1:46 am

"There isn't enough memory for the raytracer to build it's acceleration data structures. The render is being aborted."

Mga bro may nakaexperience na ba sa n'yo ng error na to? Ano kayang cause nito at paano solusyunan? 2GB lang kasi ung ram ng desktop na gamit ko. Is there any workaround para matuloy ung render? thanks in advance Smile

so many options sir a.k.a , you can start with render by region... and if its not necessary to have big resolution texture maps, might as well scale it down, and lastly use displacement as necessary as you can... if its not needed.. turn it off.. good luck sir...

thanks for the response bro.
the error occurred in render by region, by view and for a test/low settings @ 800x600 res. no big resolution maps also. wala ring displacement. till now hindi ko mahanapan ng solution kaya iniuwi ko na lang ulit at sa bahay nirender. okay naman pag sa desktop ko sa bahay. i guess there is something wrong with my office pc setup and kelangan din mag-add ng ram.

are you using vray or standard scanline? kasi di naman mag-message ng ganyan kung vray you don't need to use raytrace pag-Vray., ibig sabihin po nyan eh.. sobra dami ng reflection na ginamit mo.. lower it down. di kasi kaya ng Ram mo yung count nya. pero sa ibang pc n malakas kaya diba?. hope it helps.
