how to make light pass through glasswindow

mga ser, prablem again, paano ko ba mapapatagos ang ilaw sa glass, i am not using vray mat, i am using normal materials at mental ray ang renderer ko, sana makatulong kayo t.y poh.

puede siguro sir.. exclude mo yung glass sa ilaw mo.

use architectural materials. it has a ready made glass material. Then mimic/modify mo na lang ung pagkasetup to your own taste.

Sir you mean makikita ang light? if so gamit ka ng volume light effect .. and use the A&D Glass Solid preset para sa material mo .. hope naka help

mga masters, yung parang affect shadow sa vray

oo architectural materials of simple material na transparency lang ang gagalawin. good luck!

ayaw pa rin mga master na try ko na ung architectural, ayaw nya icast yung shadow ng araw sa interior

use raytrace shadow.

Kung MR sun gamit mo, try mo lagyan ng Sky Portal sa opening/window. Tapos siguraduhin mong nakatapat ang araw sa direction ng window.
Kung ayaw parin, ipost mo yung file mo at ng makita yung setup mo.

tama si sir logikpixel sky portal (yung mukhang vray light plane) ang sagot sa problema mo nix... namiss ko tuloy ang mental ray..... merong tutorial yon sa "help" ng max.. hanapin mo na lang
