Warm - Up[UPDATED w/ other views]
First topic message reminder :
Friends, i still need to update this. mabagal lang talagang magrender tong makina ko.
Lesson learned: If you are one of those who owns a pre-core 2 duo machine, never ever use a vray sun/cam combo, chances are you will get excessively long render times(10-12hrs on a high resolution image). I still render using the default max cameras and standard lighting most of the time. So this is my 4th vray sun and vray camera render. Vray low, all set to default...
Suggestions are welcome. Updates will be available once renders are done..

Just for fun
Thanks in advance...

Sa wakas, natapos ko na din. Here are the updates. After some tweaks with the shaders and a change in lighting setup, I was able to drop down rendertimes from 12 hours to 3hours. Take note that I am using a pre-core2 duo machine. Maybe if I run this on a quad it will be under an hour. I tested my previous setup on a quad and it rendered in 2hrs on the average. Thanks to everyone, I learned a lot on the process of doing these images.

Re: Warm - Up[UPDATED w/ other views]
@pixelburn: Thanks a lot for the nice comments....still working on further enhancing our skills.
Yung DOF, I used vray camera's DOF feature. The tip is to align your focus plane with your subject. That means itapat mo sa object or subject mo yung focus plane, and makakakuha ka ng tamang result. Well in my case tama naman lumabas...1st time ko kasi.
I also experimented using max's standard cameras. For that, you will have to check the DOF option on your rendering engine. Sana nakatulong...

For my DOF, i set the camera with the following parameters:
f no. = 1.0
shutter speed = 600
film speed = 100
Focus plane = view dependent (adjust according to your view)
Of course this will also be dependent on how you setup your lights, among other factors.
Thanks sir..
