Warm - Up[UPDATED w/ other views]
First topic message reminder :
Friends, i still need to update this. mabagal lang talagang magrender tong makina ko.
Lesson learned: If you are one of those who owns a pre-core 2 duo machine, never ever use a vray sun/cam combo, chances are you will get excessively long render times(10-12hrs on a high resolution image). I still render using the default max cameras and standard lighting most of the time. So this is my 4th vray sun and vray camera render. Vray low, all set to default...
Suggestions are welcome. Updates will be available once renders are done..

Just for fun
Thanks in advance...

Sa wakas, natapos ko na din. Here are the updates. After some tweaks with the shaders and a change in lighting setup, I was able to drop down rendertimes from 12 hours to 3hours. Take note that I am using a pre-core2 duo machine. Maybe if I run this on a quad it will be under an hour. I tested my previous setup on a quad and it rendered in 2hrs on the average. Thanks to everyone, I learned a lot on the process of doing these images.

Personal project naman sir...pero, for real production work, i still prefer to use standard lights and max's default cameras....and set it up for real fast renders....factor din sir, that i can;t still get the latest processors so, tyagaan nalang muna...

Re: Warm - Up[UPDATED w/ other views]
astig naman sa warm-up... mukhang warm-up to sa matindihan a since namention mo na low-settings lang to pero superb output, can you share the settings bro? and nacurious ako dun sa sinabi mo na kung vraysun and vraycam combo e nakakapagbagal ng rendering. gaano katotoo un bro?

oi bro kiets!

Agree ako jan, since talagang yang mga new features ng vray is more on a high quality pc. D xa compatible using low end pc.\ which I'm using right now.

yan talaga ang makakapagseparate from boys to big guys e in terms of 3dvisualization imho. kahit sino now ay madali ng matutong magrender kaya and pinakabigdeal na e "how fast can you do it?" yan din ang matagal ko ng sinasaliksik hehehe sa observation ko naman, it is the material settings and polygon counts that contribute the most. not to mention those fur, displacement, reflections and number of ies lights you have on the scene din. i hope we will have a true collaboration here or have a scene then same maps, same number of polygons (as in walang babaguhin), same number of ies lights and placements, same vraycam and vraysun or same standard cam with normal cam then magkakaiba na lang sa settings ng materials and cams saka lights. tapos tingnan natin kung sino ang pinakamabilis ang render output with the same resolutions of course. then compulsary na ilagay ung settings sa lahat ng ginamit. material, lightings and cam setup. what you think bro?
