Re: Interior Courtyard
I like this for a change!
As a self-proclaimed gardener, I would suggest a pebbled separator between the lawn and the flooring, otherwise when you start watering them, the precepitations will creep through your tiles and make your flooring wet. I do not know if you are a fan of Japanese gardens but a mixtures of stones, pebbles and greens compliment the modern look of concrete structures. Here's one for reference if you are interested.

Re: Interior Courtyard
maganda at environmental friendly.. good idea ito concept.. thanks for sharing. keep it up..
Re: Interior Courtyard
Thanks mga bro sa pagappreciate!
thanks V sa suggestion, love that idea!
Thanks ulit!

Thanks bro. usong uso na nga to sa ibang bansa. gusto ko i-try sana dito as atin. at gulay talaga ang target namin. una ko tong nakita sa isang web. italy yata ung location nung project. salad wall ang tawag nila kasi panay pang salad ang nakatanim.
Re: Interior Courtyard
Some points to remember - is that while plants and interior vegetation is leaning towards eco-friendly design. They are also infact breeding grounds for diseases such as malaria etc. It helps to consider such effects when designing water supply and ventilation.
Looking forward to the final design concept.

Thanks V, but hydroponics concept avoids stagnation of water. It's works best when water is being circulated. It's like fresh water daily. and whats also good about it is you just water the roots, not the stems nor the leaves. I hope to study more on this. I actually have plants on my table now that works exactly like this. no soil. nabili ko lang sa mall.
Re: Interior Courtyard
This is very interesting...I'd try to research on this concept during my free time.

Re: Interior Courtyard
Thats nice bokks - good to know that particular part is being addressed as well. I am not so familiar with hydrophonics but it must be similar to what we have here. In my small graden, I also use a pellet like material instead of the usual soil. For interior plants - small ones for that matter, I use a translucent material that turns into jelly-like substance, I bet the purpose is the same - to prevent stagnant water from turning into insect breeding grounds.
One more thing that crossed my mind -
the road heating systems which are basically a bunch of bent pipes and hoses running heated water. This could probably give you some other cool ideas to water the greens. Instead of hot water flowing- maybe these could be embedded under the ground to provide controlled source of liquids. Just a thought.
Goodluck.
