@harry i suspect baka yung wall ay negative face. baligtarin mo. minsan pala kapag negative yung face sa vray minsan nagreresult ng ganyan.

Sir you mean reverse face?
kasi po before ko pong ireverse face yan, yung tulad nung nsa taas kong post po ang itsura.. kulay black lang po..
Sir nakuha ko na nga pala po yan, yung mismong material na irereflect yung irereverse.. pero sir eto po tanong ko...

yung imported image po kapag sa loob ng room ko nilagay, narereflect pero kpag outside the window, ndi na po nagrereflect

Tsaka po pala sir. Ang ginamit ko diyan sa reflection ay blend, ung primary ay none at yung secondary ay freshnel na. Kapag freshnel lang kasi ay iba yung itsura. malabo ang reflection niya. tama ba yung ginawa ko na blend?? hehe

fresnel map.. parallel sa camera less reflection, perpendicular sa camera more refelction. so yung camera angle mo ay halos perpendicular na sa camera so less reflection talaga. kahit sa tunay na glass. ganun ang mangyayri. mirror lang ang pwede na gusto mo kahit prallel sa camera ay 100% reflection. for me ok yung naachieve mo na reflection considering halos perpendicular sya sa camera.

Sir nomer, any suggestion po sa settings nung glass material ko, which is yung objects behind it were not reflected on the mirror wall inside the room?

I tried to follow your pdf tutorial, I just get confused to some parts as they were set on the previous version of vray.
I don't know how to use those parallel and perpendicular on the fresnel map on the reflection layer.

TIA, sorry if some of my questions were too noob, I'm only a newbie.

Thank you sir nomer! ahm posible po ba dahil yun sa pag blend?. kasi diba po kapag walang map eh perfect mirror siya kahit anong angulo ay reflected, tapos hinaluan ko ng fresnel. Yan yung naging resulta, kahit ganyan na ang angle eh malinaw pa rin reflection niya..,. tama po ba yun? Rolling Eyes

@miki.. actually you are using fresnel map right. bale dun sa reflection layer ang nilagay mo na map ay reflection map. sa bagong vray kapag walang map bale it reflects like a mirror.

Parang di ko yata naintindihan sir pasensya..ang nilagay ko po na map dun sa reflection layer imbis na fresnel ang nilagay ko ay Blend. blend ng None+fresnel. kung baga mirror+fresnel. yan po yung ginawa ko dun sir.

maganda actually ang ginawa mo miki. ganun din ang approach ko kapag gusto kong magpareflect ng mga glass na halos parallel sa camera. so ok yung ginawa mo actually. so ngayon laruin molang sa gray scale na blending ng blend map mo.

can you give us the file. i cannot fully understand your set up. hindi ko alam kung yung pinapareflect mo na background ay HD image bakground, inalagay mo na material sa window or inimport na texture na nakapaste sa isang plane sa likod. Kung yung huli. hinid siguro talaga magrereflect since makikita molang yung bakground sa camera angle mo. pero sa refelction hinid mo na makikita ang background face at yung actual background color na puti nalang ang makikita mo.

Sir pasensya na po. newbie lang po talaga ako.
gusto ko pong magreflect yung image behind the camera(yung image po as background nilagay ko po yun through import)
hindi ko po inapply sa surface yung image(as material) para maging background.

yung material po nung glass sa window iniisip ko lang po na baka dun yung problema kaya po ayaw magreflect sa mirror yung whatever na object behind the window.

pasensya na po Sir if I made the discussion for my problem too long.. But I need tulong hehe...

di ko parin maintindihan ang sinasabi mo na import texture. kasi kapag inimport mo ang isang jpg. nmagiging material into ng something. i will only be clear with it once i got your file.
