Hi nomer,
I like the light distribution and ambient coloring in the above image.
I've been looking at this beautiful image for minutes trying to find what else to suggest. I come to a guess that the lights from the left window opening doesn't seem to show much of it's illumination effect. To illustrate, try to cover up the left side with your palm and you might notice that even without this source of light (window), the ambience in the room still matches the surroundings.
If we were to assume that at the golden hour - the sun shines bright from this left side window, you will see that it will break the orangey feel.
Perhaps it is just the color of the environment.
Or maybe you need to clamp the brightness so it does not show as a solid white color?
Some other nitpicks:
1. I feel the ceiling fans too low (I'm saying without any knowledge of how they do it in Vietnam)
2. The rendering might look even better using other samplers (mit-net, catmull) rather than softeners like area or PS.
Inspiring Nevertheless!

Re: random SU modelled rendered in Vray SU and Vray Max (with TUT on page 6)
roy, indeed with your very eyes i could see what else to improve. I covered the window and indeed it actually takes some attention to the main areas. and as we know whites often takes some attention. thanks for pointing that.
trying to produce like what i ussually do in vraySU (above image) i cant seem to reproduce with vraymax. i tweaked the sun, camera and desaturate the GI calculation, same as SU and still i have the yellowish effect in my Max version. which comes to my question on how to produce white effects in VrayMax. You are giving me an hint on clamping the brightness there and i will take it as my assignment when i go home this afternoon.
yeah notice than fan ha. binabaan ko actually para makita sa isang view. eh hindi ko naitaas ng nirender ko tung view na to. your sharp roy.
i havent tried catmul. yes im using area here. thank you sa mga puntos roy. your really that kind of person i was waiting to give me some points paticularly with my vray max skills which is i know could stll develop with your watcful eyes. thanks buddy and thank for the vram material slot hints.. so you could prove how im new with that.

Re: random SU modelled rendered in Vray SU and Vray Max (with TUT on page 6)
The vraysun combined with a vraycamera is a very tricky combo. It would probably take me half a day to talk about them but allow me to be brief on how you might possibly find answers to your questions.
First, the orangey feel may be caused (I'm writing without any knowledge of how you set up the scene) by:
1. The GI (Secondary bounce, often referred to as the bleeding). With a red wall and a yellowish brown flooring, I would expect it to generate a tone along the reddish orangey huey. You can minimize this lowering the Generate GI parameter per object (right-clock vray props) or lowering the Secondary Bounce globally via Rendering Settings>Global Illumination.
Another technique to control the strength or color of the GI an object produces is by not letting it produce GI at all, you just place a differently colored dummy object in its place, invisible to the camera but producing the right GI timpla.
To light efficiently in MAX, my suggestion is to light your scene first without regards for maps or colors. Use the global material override to color your scene white. And test render with your light setup. Of course it will not render white depending on your sun's position or the color of the light. Observe the effect of each light sources starting from the natural lighting (sun, window opening, etc), and later on combining them with the artificial light. if the lighting looks perfectly OK with white mats - I am sure they will look OK in any situation or with the objects materials set to on.
As for the camera, do not adjust the F nos first, use the default and set your lights. Once you have a lighting scheme that you like - use the F number as a last spice to nudge the brightness or darkness of the scene. This is a common mistake I see among people who use VRAY or any application, they tweak everything at the same time, get a good image but at the end they learn nothing from the experience. If we light one at a time, and take note of the contribution of each light or camera parameters (comparing to the previous state), then we learn to avoid facing the same problem the next time.
My lighting process:
1. Natural light.
2. test Render. If OK go to 3
3. Atificial Light A
4. test Render. If OK go to 5
5. Artificial Light B and so on. If OK go to 6
6. Combine all Light Sources.
7. Render
8. Last tweaks via materials or cameras.
I might have missed a thing or two but the above is more or less how I go about it. Goodluck!
And as always, thank you for the kind words!
