release* na RTM (ready to manufacturing/marketing) last July 13 available to your friendly torrent, its the next step from the RC build (release candidate, 7000~7260 build, etc...)

this 22nd of October wil be the gold release.

and yeah as experience user define Seven as "teh refined Vista", hope it will surpass XP's gold standard and become OS king of the hill..

+500 million copies sales upon its release and still counting, even its EOL is numbered.. I guess, its more than that for time being tongue

Vista sucks for its prerequisite to run with bliss using 2gb memory, it cover XP's rabbit holes in security while adding system hog eye candies as drawback though user can revert to a more simpler but efficient desktop only if we want too, i may say... as for the vista hardware seal, yeah it was for global marketing domination and to cover the lack of drivers when it was offered to this manufacturers..

let me state this, there is no perfect OS, even Mac's bragging rights; Leopard was not-so perfect after all.. that's why SNow Leopard will be release to counter M$'s Seven, that's why there are service packs to improve its efficiency as time consume this holes we encounter, day by day, Xp's era was a time where software can hardly utilize hardware that pops up every 3 months.. the day when 2gb was not for mainstream computing.

look how cheaper ddr2 stick these days..

mukhang maganda nga ang windows 7 a. one thing worries me ay ung availability ng drivers, example ung motherboard kelangan pa ba na specified talaga na windows 7 compatible ung driver? or sigurado ng compatible sya kung nainstallan ng vista compatible driver? wala kasi sa gigabyte website ung windows 7 compatible na mobo driver ng sa akin.
