RAW versus JPEG

sir maam sir.. maaari po bang magbigay kaalaman tungkol dito.. salamat po..

the analogy is...

Raw is the cake, while Jpeg is just a slice of it.

salamat sir tutik.. if NEF(RAW)+JPEG settings nmn daw, white balance bracketing is not available.. yun naman isusunod ko alamin..

sir sa pagkakaalam ko lang is mas ok ang raw format kesa sa jpeg.
Lalo na pag Photoshop user ka...its better to save your 2d output in raw format.......mas ok kasi pag jpeg nman tapos lang beses natransfer and naPS eh bumaba ang quality ng image so with raw pero yung quality is still there kahit naretouch ng ilang beses ang imge in raw format.

To say simply - raw is hilaw. No compression. Jpegs are lossless compression.
If you are doing post pro, raw is your man.

yan ang difference. jpeg will open straightaway open while raw gives you this problem (j/k). check if you have ACR (adobe camera raw-ps plugin) installed. if not, download from adobe's website (it's free), it should be able to solve this.

dont often use RAW.. it uses a lot of memory. 18M compared to jpeg's 3M...
aksaya lng sa memory... for ordinary shoots, jpeg is recommended...
