1.till now hirap pa rin ako sa displacement... Embarassed dont know kung sa settings ako mali o sa mat used.

Uhhhmmm... Correct me if I'm wrong... There's only one vray displacement... Displacement on the mat editor is 3dsMax displacement...

Technically, cloud is correct there is only one displacement in vray and that is thru the vraydisplacementmod.

The one you find via materials is Max's default and can only be overwritten by Vray if the flag in V-Ray::Default displacement parameters is checked.

I say everything. I've been doing CG for close to 18 years now and I still think I need to learn a lot.

a LOT actually...

masyadong malawak ang cg industry...di mo masasabing alam mo na lahat...
been doing cg for almost 10 years now, at gang ngayon nagbabasa pa rin ng mga tutorials sa net, u-tube at kung minsan nagtatanong sa mga kakilala, baguhan man o matagal na sa business....

ung mga gusto kong matutunan e ung sa gaming talaga....hehe(eto nanaman ako oh..) like biped, bones, rigging, precise uv mapping, character modelling...etc...etc...

I guess katatandaan ko na ang cg at di magsasawa sa paghahanap ng mga kasagutan sa mga katanungan ko...pag di ka mag upgrade mapag iiwanan ka.... kaya pag may di alam magsaliksik at wag mahiyang magtanong...

Ako din marami pa rin ako Sablay sa Rendering... Well for me importante talaga ang Practice ng Practice tapos experiment,,
syempre kailangan gusto mo rin ang ginagawa mo.. kahit na walang Rendering work at Tabing guhit make it as your Hobby.
Tamad din ako magbasa ng tutorial pero wala ka talaga magawa kundi magbasa eh... Di tulad dati Manual pwede ka mag practice mag isa lang... kunting basa lang sa libro ng technique okey na or may gifted talga kahit di magbasa magaling pa rin mag kulay.
Pero ngayon iba ng sitwasyon Computer na obligahin mo talaga sarili mo magbasa kahit ayaw mo kasi yun ang labanan ngayon
eh.Tapos pag marunong ka na yan na magkakaroon ka na ng sarili mong style.... Kaya para sa akin basa lang ng basa kasi
sa totoo lang nandiyan lang ang Tutorial ang problema di lang tayo nagpa practice tulad ko tamad minsan magbasa... Laughing
Sa Practice ko lang na realize na di lang pala Vray Setting ang importante, kundi Material Setting, Lighting Setting, Mapping
Technique, Vray displacement, Vray light material, Bump, at may mga plug ins pa Archishaders, Ivy generator, IES generator at alam ko marami pang mga sekreto na dapat mo malaman at syempre NEVERMOTION... hay dami ko pa aalamin. Embarassed

Tama ka jan Sir Austria 2thumbsup ..Minsan group study tayo with Sir Aries para matuto tayo lalo.!!!

Ako din tamad magbasa..mas gusto ko visual test agad hehe kaya di ako matuto agad..

Been new to 3ds again this January since SU lang talaga gamit ko.Medyo mahirap lang timplahin for ma ang SU+Vray medyo mas mabilis ang Su+Max sa akin ngayon.

Salamat at may CGP at medyo naibalik ko ang sigla sa 3d since this is not my line of work eversince.Ni hindi ako naging visualizer hehe puro site at proj management kasi ako lagi.

Ano gusto ko matutunan hehe my first love..3d animation parang mga Flight sim na pag tinamaan ng bomba booom yun hehe..pero im 1% there...marami pa kakainin...

3d modelling inside max.. til now autocad file link pa din ako... kinakabahan kase ako pag max agad ang bubuksan ko pag mag momodel... gusto kong matutong mag model.. natatakot naman.. pano kaya...??? ang nagawa ko lang sa max is ung fence... hanggang dun lang.. ung ibang complex modelling wala na... takot na... hahaha... to answer the thread question... gusto ko talaga matutunan yung realistic na rendering.. kaso medyo nangangapa pa ako.. pero natuto ako sa max dahil nag c search ako sa net hanggang dumating ang cgp kaya medyo na improve ako ng kunti... mas gusto parati nag experimentg settings.. anyway sana every post sa architectural section compulsory na maglagay ng render, ligthing o kahit materials settings man lng pra naman may idea tau at ma share sa cg community.. sana gawan ito ng standard format ng MOD.. hindi naman cguro to matatawag na spoon feeding ito mga bro para naman mapuna yung kulang natin sa settings.. more power to CGP Smile

jenaro baka to yung problema mo sa SU. kung gusto mong magdisplace, dapat and face na dinidisplace mo ay naka GROUP. again nakaGROUP, sigurado ang displacement.

tama c sir nomer pareng jenaro, dapat i-GROUP mo ang face! ilang beses nya na tinuro yan dapat iGROUP mo lng!hehehehe.. for example gumawa k ng shape na rectangle, idouble click mo xa,ung FACE as in ung FACE, tapos i-right click mo xa, tapos i-make GROUP mo xa!

rendering in 32 bits has its advantages if you are making further color corrections or exposure adjustments in post. This is evident when working with layers that need to be added or screened atop another.

This is the defacto bit depth when working linears for film.

This is similar to RAW/NEF files for still images.
This thread is a little confusing, Is this a list of questions or answers?
