HDRI and Bitmap background
Im a newbie here, member na ako since march pero ngayun lang ako magpopost. Yung mga tutorial dito laking tulong sakin nagkaroon ako ng idea on how to use 3d max and vray.
Ang problem ko eh, regarding with my background image.
So far, etong mga to talaga prinoproblema ko.

Rephrase the question, can't understand what you meant.

If you use a bitmap or an hdri image in the environment slots of MAX. It will be used by vray as the GI source and as a reflection map. If you want to use a separate bitmap for reflection, you then have to put that bitmap in the Vray:Environment Reflection Override.
Why does vray have both the Environment Override and the Reflection Overrides?
That's because if you put the environment image in the Environment slots of MAX, it will be used as a source for GI and reflection and at the same time will be rendered along with other elements. This is a no-no if you want to maintain the GI or reflections but want the backgrounds to remain black or something else for compositing.
Having an override function allows you to use different images for both GI and reflections and at the same time - maintain a solid background color in the renders.

unfortunately karen, the image that HDRI has doesnt seem to fit to be used as a background... IMHO, i look for another image as a background w/c is similar to my HDRI's....
