Re: Exterior shot with fountain
hayyy naku, anyway forget it vertex. alam ko naman you are grown and professional enough for this matter. lets step forward wat is necessary.
by the way i will be using your water fountain posted picture for my tutorial. iba kase mga picture na nasa akin, they are like jolens. iyong kaseng nakunan ko di available iyong pitures nila. ng ipakita ko iyong render ko sa kanila okay lang daw kase iba-iba naman ang design ng water fountain. merong jolens, merong malaki laki ng konti sa jolens at meron mas maliit pa kesa jolens. iyon eh kung if you dont mind.

Re: Exterior shot with fountain
can we redo this thread? or edit out ko nalang ang mga angst nyo dito?
This is very helpful, pro kulang pa para sa akin, Actually, sa napapansin ko, it's good to have a onel-vertex tandem. one edits the other, para maganda talaga ang output.
Sana naintindihan nyo ako. sayang ang mga pages na walang laman/sense na napapasali dito..

Sir Render Master,
Awesome work! I really like it a lot...
IMHO Sir, never let anybody pull you down about your work lalo na sa mga critiques never let them dictate what they want in contrast to what you desire.
***moderator*****photorealistic etc.
your work is fantastic i may say! keep it up and post more. lalo na sa mga newbie na tulad ko.
the hibachi has you!

for me ok lang sa akin, if he can respect me then it can be. i dont have any grudge against him nor to his comments kahit pa ano mga iyon. Magkaroon lang sya ng respeto kung sino kausap nya.

How's does that feel?
I would have liked to insult you like you do, but the sad truth is, again you wouldn't understand me.
Next time if you have something personal to say - Just PM. Now, puwede pa ba akong magcomment sa work mo?
Give it a break man- no contest!
Re: Exterior shot with fountain
balat sibuyas? ala naman problema sa comments vertex. medyo nagkalabuan lang siguro, sabihin mo ba namang irephrase or whatever which is parang ****... which is di naman ako **** anyway forget it. at least ok na uli ang thread. going smooth na

Para sa lahat. pasensya na kayo sa thread medyo nag-create kase ng tension at konting di pagkakaunawaan. and to all di naman ganun kakitid ang utak ko not to accept the comments. I dont have any grudge for any body its just na parang naging highblood lang bawat side. anyway wait nyo na lang the said tutorials on the tutorial section.

Off-topic:
This should have been averted earlier. As I see it, there's no problem with the comment. I've seen more harsh than that but these comments should have been translated through the application. The trouble is we don't see any images rendered/printscreen to validate the comment - which should have resolved the current conflict. This is not getting healthy anymore.
On-topic:
More particles at the top and add Motion blur "para di magmukhang jolens".

Re: Exterior shot with fountain
I did not post pictures because I had the long time impression that the Thread starter knows what I was talking about. If he really didn't and he asked for guidance, I would have gladly taken time out my paid busy schedules to provide an illustration like I always do.
One approach I suggested is to use metaballs, I even gave a hint for the new free plugin I am currently using.
After that, I wonder what else I have done wrong. In the meantime - I will post my comment when there is something else worth commenting. So far there is none.

Re: Exterior shot with fountain
Since you are working on your new tutorials, and I am the cool guy, allow me to offer few more harmless unsolicited advice that you and your friends can put to good use:
1. As much as possible, try to emit particles from a few common vertices instead of emitting from a surface or volume. This way, you can force the particles to form a thread like pattern that is importnat if you want to mimic long, thin flowing liquids or slime.
2. Use Wind, not for the wind itself but for the turbulence.
3. When adding turbulence to your particles, it helps to emit particles from a single point (vertex!) that way, the particles form a single thread (linelike) and the turbulence scale and strength becomes more prominent making it easier to setup. Once done, you can now emit the particles from the surface, faces, wherever.
4. Use drag, not the drag queen - just drag
5. Don't use particles, use an opacity mapped plane (I like this better)
Unfortunately it is close to 4AM now in my part of the globe, and I have a deadline to beat. So if you are lost and needing guidance, just kindly say so minus the unnecessary stuff. I doubt you will. The same goes for ronel's readers, ask and ye shall receive.
If you look at the vfx forums, I have a simple video capture there illustrating how I use WIND and DRAG, Feel free to improvise, share and tell your friends.
And if you already know what I wrote, then I offer the information to those who don't. If you have no need for all these that I wrote, that is fine with me. I am sure somebody will, someday. BTW, You are free to use my fountain photos as you said you will.
Shu no heiwa.

Re: Exterior shot with fountain
thnks vertex.... for the advice.
i have some and more to do with the image, anyway its a sample actually for the waterfountain tutorial using diffirent approach on particles. from your drag and wind up to part pflows, unfortunately i dont have much time for now to post all the out put image. but still i try the best to include it on the tutorials for the reader to see the diifirent effects of diffirent method.
im glad the way you are now. keep it up . its what i called profesionalism and manners

I watched this thread very closely, magulo sa simula... at habang tumatagal sumasarap ang usapan...
Ang winner dito ay tayong sumusubaybay sa thread na eto... sinimulan ni sir onel at madaming good inputs si sir vertex... although nagkalabuan, e klaro naman yung mga magagandang inputs na ating matutunan...
