HELP! I need somebody...rendering a high resolution image
First topic message reminder :
mga dudes patulong naman....
having some problem rendering an image with 2500 resolution or higher.

v_wrangler wrote:They aren't mistaken. And I am not mistaken either.
The mistake lies in how you understood (or otherwise) what the discussion was about. If you read from the top you'll understand.
Ang problema ay ang kakulangan ng memory when rendering - so if you'll proxy it with lowres (kasi nga ano pa ba ang kasunod ng hires pa-taas?
Of course pwede mong gamitin for rendering ang proxy - but in this particular problem - all you have is a lower resolution proxy which defeats the purpose.
Na gets mo na kaya?
Hindi kase ayaw ko i-gets.
The thread stated Rendering a high res image with some bitmap error case, so meaning di na kaya ihandle ng cpu ang mga bitmap na ginamit nya, so using a bitmap proxy may lowering the image resolution of the bitmap he uses. So its a case to case basis pa rin. So i thinks with this scenario, di mo sasabihing affected iyong high res image nya,
To torvicz..
Inspect and review mo lang ang lahat ng bitmap na ginamit mo, baka iyong iba masyadong malaki ang resolution then ang liit lang naman pala ng object na pinaglagyan. hope it helps.

bro natry mo na bang gawing auto to dynamic ung sa vray settings? and sabi mo na 4GB naman ram mo kaya pwede mong gawing at least 2GB ung allotted memory sa vray settings din... hope makatulong

Kaya naman pala di tayo magkaintindihan eh - ayaw mo palang intindihin.
Siguro nga iba yung tinitingnan mo sa nakita ko - kasi my advise has always been how to solve problems not get around it. Magkaiba yung work the problem out sa hindi naman halata eh. The latter, ay hindi uubra sa akin
Since you mentioned a script. It is a good "workaround". If you have no choice or have no time to learn and find out why it won't render, grab it.
Kasi nga at 2500 pixels which is quite small - something might be terribly wrong with your machine setup or scene that it won't be obliged to render something that small (arkiviz standard) . And if you resort to the workaround (while it does the same thing) you are simply getting around the problem and not solving it in its entirety. You will be doing the same thing when the same thing comes again the second time. Well if it works - then it works!
So my advice to everyone - specially if you want to be very very very proficient in max - is to learn from the mistakes (user errors or hardware deficiencies whatsoever) so that you will be well-armed when the same bugging problem comes again.
And to rendermaster - I also use that script if I am rendering stills at 10Ks and over

@ dude vertex & dude ronel:
there seem to be a debate happening, but it's ok...
gusto ko lang malaman nyo na malaki ng natututunan ko sa mga arguments ninyong dalawa...and thank you for taking time off just to answer this problem..
kagabi napuyat nanaman ako sa pag-troubleshoot but still, ganun pa rin.
although paminsan minsan nakakatsamba...pero di parin sapat ung resolution na nakukuha ko....gang 1800 lang e....need to have atleast 2500.
try ko uli mamya tong napag usapan nyong dalawang master...
ayus kayong dalwa!

Re: HELP! I need somebody...rendering a high resolution image
TOrvics - I do not use xref when rendering - it will clog the bandwith lalo na if you are exref'in from a different machine in the LAN. So if you ask for my experience - that's all I can say. If you need more book info - I'm sure rendermaster will come to your rescue.
For rendersmaster, siguro nga iba yung tinitingnan mo sa nakita ko - kasi pag nagbigay ako ng advise it has always been how to solve problems not get around it. Magkaiba yung work the problem out sa hindi naman halata eh. Dun ako palagi sa una. Anyways, there's a gazillion ways to do the same thing in max, if it works then its works.
TOrvics, since ronel mentioned a script. I'd say it is a good "workaround". If you have no choice or have no time to learn and find out why it won't render, grab it.

Re: HELP! I need somebody...rendering a high resolution image
ano ba size ng ginagawa mo baka sobra laki. then ang dpi nya sobra laki then. review mo iyong print size wizard.
i remember nag render ako ng aerial view ng subdivision, 300 houses, 6 dept/ commercial, 8 school building, 2 churches, 1 govt buildling, lots of parkings, rpc tress ( 800) rpc cars ( 300)..... pang A0 - with 600 dpi. bitmap error pa rin, na solve ko by adjusting bitmapager and lowering down a bit ang bitmap proxy.

yun lolo ko...
lol!
Torvics, pag nasolve na post the rendering tapos i-document mo kung pano mo naayos. So we can learn from it.

accidentaly thru net. so ngayon every now and then may warning na nagpo-pop up saying na

Re: HELP! I need somebody...rendering a high resolution image
Dehins ko masagot yang specific na tanong mo kasi ala naman pakialam ang max sa OS unless an SP requires a particular new dll from an OS upgrade.
Anyways, ganito gagawin ko:
1. Restart machine
2. Start Max
3. Turn off bitmaps, shadows, displacements and test render
3. Bring back yong tinurn off mo one at a time then test render,
4. Pag di sya nagrender at nagerror pa rin liek before pag turn on mo ang bitmap, then its a bitmap prolem.
5. Approach the bitmap problem as suggested by yours truly and ronel.
6. Kung gumamit ka ng low res bitmap at nairender mo, then its a memory issue.
Solb!

maliit nga, may culprit sa scene mo, merge mo kaya into a new file ( testing lang kung talagang ala na choice)

Sir ha ginawa mo pa akong renderfarm, ehekk renderer pala
there are a lot of ways and things to trouble shoot, iyong mga suggestion namin was base lang sa mga naeexperienced namin, unless we have the scene file doon pa lang namin talagang mapo-point out lahat.
