HELP! I need somebody...rendering a high resolution image

mga dudes patulong naman....

having some problem rendering an image with 2500 resolution or higher.
pwede bang magtanong kung baket nagka-crash ang pc ko.
memory issue ba to? 4 gig lang ram ko e...

minsan merong message na "error creating bitmap"...

are you sure you have enough disk space? Or are you overwriting a file that is locked?

I'd restart the pc and free the memory. Enable the "Bitmap Pager" in the rendering tab of the Preferences dialog box. It may slow down the render process but it will render just fine. Fingers crossed.

One point:

Check your bitmap(s)...all. Be sure it is not heavy in size. Even if they are big file, make it lighter(save for web).

this makes sense...kase kagabi try kong overwrite ung isang tga file before rendering....try ko to mamya.
although sa disk space di ko na-check pa dude, baka rin....

Dude nag ca crash ba or di mo lng ma save yung final image kse Error creating Bitmap??? Kse ako minsan ganito na eexperience ko.Narerender nmn yung whole scene tapos pag save ko na yun na Error creating Bitmap.Solution ko turn off ko vray frame buffer then render ko lng sya sa max..Not sure bro kung ito nga problem mo..

both dude, I mean minsan nag ca crash sya before the end of the rendering. minsan naman pag click mo palang ng render button
"error creating bitmap na agad. both having 2500 resolution. so ginagawa ko 1800 muna, ok naman. kaso kelangan ko 2500 pataas e....napuyat ako kaka-troubleshoot kagabi! hmp!

Madali lang yan sa katabi mo.......magtanong ka!

Ahh well in that case tingin ko ill go for sir V suggestion. Taasan mo lng yung value ng Bitmap Pager and yeah check mo din lng yung mga file size ng maps.

Dude jeff...na experience ko rin to. Ang ginawa ko din I tried to save it on a different drive or better yet save the image to the render output first... additional inputs na rin... . thanx jeff...

To add, if you are rendering in vray - turn off MAX vfb. It eats ram for dinner. Just use vray frame buffer.

nangyayari din sa akin yan sir torvikz, gawa ko nag-i-start ako sa 3200 res pag ayaw pa rin pababa ng pababa till i reach the right resolution...but sometimes 2200 ok pa....sometimes malalaki masyado ang mga file size ng texture.

What the proxy does is substitute high-res to lowres for ease of display. But it is not something you'd use when you are going FINAL. Defeats the purpose. I like that. I'm going to make that my slogan.

in rendering a high res image, im using a render script plugins, it subdivides the image into parts then automatically combined them when the last part was rendered. in this case the cpu is not obliged to read the whole resolution of the scene you are rendering.

The mistake lies in how you understood (or otherwise) what the discussion was about. If you read from the top you'll understand.

Ang problema ay ang kakulangan ng memory when rendering - so if you'll proxy it with lowres (kasi nga ano pa ba ang kasunod ng hires pa-taas? ) eh di lalo mo lang binawasan ang quality ng rendering. Yun ang point ng sagot ko sa suggestion mo.

Of course pwede mong gamitin for rendering ang proxy - but in this particular problem - all you have is a lower resolution proxy which defeats the purpose.

The thread stated Rendering a high res image with some bitmap error case, so meaning di na kaya ihandle ng cpu ang mga bitmap na ginamit nya, so using a bitmap proxy may lowering the image resolution of the bitmap he uses. Puede naman i-lower ang bitmap proxy na di gaanong maapektuhan ang rendered image. Malay natin, iyong isang bitmap na ginamit nya is sobrang high res, sa scene naman ang liit naman pala ng object na pinaglagyan ng bitmap na iyon. So its a case to case basis pa rin. So i thinks with this scenario, di mo sasabihing affected iyong high res image nya,

Inspect and review mo lang ang lahat ng bitmap na ginamit mo, baka iyong iba masyadong malaki ang resolution then ang liit lang naman pala ng object na pinaglagyan. hope it helps.
