CGDIGI: Bahay Kubo of the Future Design Competition

ok here's my concept for this months challenge.. this is still rough concept, so not so sure with the final image will end up... i have no title yet for this image and not so sure if i can finish this.. lol we'll just see how it goes...

salamat sa mga comments nyo.. hhmm ito po pano ginawa ko ang tree.. sa zbrush using zspheres and i use archmodel for the leaves.. masyadong mabusisi kasi ang leaves hahaha yong ibang background tree archmodel na yon wala pang bahay kubo ill update soon.. im sorry if i cant explain everything how i make the tree.. for tutorials just visit zbrushcentral.com





some test for the bg still not final..


another one.. a matte test im planning to put a windmill under the cliff and a water wheel.. the roof of my kubo will be a round solar panel.. i know its not that realistic in terms of architectural structure.. but what the heck.. i just want to have fun



ps.. this is not my final shot.. i know it needs a close up shot for the bahay kubo.. still thinking about it..

hanep naman nito.. sigurado sa susunod mas matindi ang kubo nyan.. wow this is becoming my favorite....

i remembered Rafiki presenting Simba.

I rarely comment when it comes to things like this but this is just simply amazing bai. Looking forward to the end result.

vamp, vasq,namby,v_wrangler, nushroom, nomeradona, rockgem-salamat sa motivation and comments here's an update for my bahay kubo.. sorry if nahuli ang bahay kubo ito pa naman ang main concept hahaha maklaki talaga yong baahy kubo ko, made by scrap metals and some woods.. i think i have to retopo the rocks.. if i have still time..
i know parang hindi siya bagay sa concept ng contest.. pero bahala na basta enjoy lang ako sa pag gawa ok na sakin ill be updating some textures soon and also some other models to be added.. the camera is still not final though and the lighting also.. thanks again for dropping..

hi all CGP members,

this is my idea of what a bahay kubo will be in 2050.. i named it "Cuho" short for Cube house.
it is made of scrap metals and woods because even its already the future, most of the people who live in urban places
still doesnt have enough money to buy materials to improve their bahay kubo. In my opinion our country might have progress
in the future but not much to the poor people as all we see until now.. But the Cuho has some improvements of its own with
the help of the environmental organizations who provides the Cuho owners with the equipments like the water wheel, solar panels on the roof, and the wind
mill these are the machines that helps and provides the people with energy for there daily household chores and needs.

I think that wraps up everything about my entry. Thanks for those who've been watching this thread and for the motivations
to finish this challenge. i know that the structure and the placement of the equipments are not base on a
architectural basis it is more of an imaginative part of my mind,whats its important is I have fun entering this contest Good luck to all participants...
