Sketchup, podium and photomatix (updated with hypershot)
i am looking on post processing my images in HDRI. since podium is quick in rendering why not try rendering 3 different exposures and use my photomatix to process my image and create my hdri... of course my final output was saved as jpeg for posting reason. rendering time more than 12 minutes each.the good thing in photomatix is you have a lot of options.
here is my first try. i think not so bad except for some burnout areas. but i think since this is my first try its forgiveable.
please let me know your feedback..

I like the output. Maganda ang color tones nito. May color bleeding lang, which affects the color of the ceiling. Love the grains too...
I think mas magiging cool pa ito, kung may background image.

thanks mund.. oo nga eh, yung background ang problema ng Podium output. although png pero hindi ko parin makuha yung background na katulad sa vray.arkiedmund wrote:I like the output. i like the composition.
the colors, lights, materials everything looks perfect.
its very good for a first try sir nomer.
i just observe that there are few jagged edges.

hi darwin, salamat sa iyong komento. i think yung jagginess ay dahil na rin sa pagresize ko ng image.
paki singit ko narin itong desaturated image ng photomatix

yup. kadalasan nga ganun pagkaresize nagkakarun jagged edge.

Re: Sketchup, podium and photomatix (updated with hypershot)
ganda ng mood nito bro nomer ha...nice try to..yung burn areas is match naman sa scene so hindi masakit sa mata..great work bro...
Re: Sketchup, podium and photomatix (updated with hypershot)
hmmm... sir nomer... i wonder what this HDRI means exactly.. i know its literal meaning, though in this particular scene, i cant really appreciate its being hdri... sorry for that... such an ignorant yet... care to explain what you really did here... how u did it and any tricks... para namn po my idea ung newbies like me in hdri... tnx...
nwei, on rendering, this is great.. though sabi nga ni sir arkiedmund, a bit on color bleeding... which i agree... very nice lighting too.. siguro a nice background would be perfect also...

Re: Sketchup, podium and photomatix (updated with hypershot)
to understand further the workflow i would like to post here the original podium render before i load them to photomatix. As i have said photomatix is meant to create HDRI and i just thought why not use it using rendered image and see how. Fair enough, i think its one way how to explore further this area with SU, and rendered images.
although PS could do the same, but i found something in photomatix when it comes to hdri, at iyon ay yun ang "tone Mapping"
here are my three raw podium output. btw im testing the beta(unrelease)of podium and testing blurry reflections.
the step was reload the three images in photomatix by clicking create hdri. then the rest is up to you in adjusting the various sliders in Tone Mapping.
