Im studying mudbox po, heres my first sculpt po sa mudbox...

mdyu clayish pa dko pa po kasi gaano kabisado.

@ sir rockgem.. thanks po.. bago pa ren talga ako sa scuplting, bali edge modelling po tlaga ang style ko.. mas in demand na po kasi ang sculpting kaya need mag upgrade ng skills.. post ka lng po ng organic works mo buhayin nating ang modeling sa cgpinoy,

@dickie... d pa po ako confident gumawa ng tutorial as in bago pa lng talga ako sa field na to.. makagawa lng ako ng body baka pwede na gumawa ng tutorial..

@raytracer: right now limit ko lng is 500 k poly den import yung displacement map para sa 3dsmax. yung orc inabot ng 2 million polys.. hindi ko na kaya mag subdivide pa to 8 million kasi sobrang lag na.

Cray, don't worry - as I promised you - you won't be stucked doing arkiviz. Thats the reason why I work my butt trying to match you and the new projects coming soon. I'll see if we could get ourselves a mudbox licence soon.

Pakiaral lang ang pipe - munbox>max>vray because it will be useless doing millions of polys in mudbox and not being able to render or output workable models in max/vray.

cray medyo adust mo ang kulay, masyadong madilaw - parang may sakit sa bato. Pero ang lagi kong comment sa yo - the space between the two eyes should be roughly one eye. Ibaba mo pa yung ridge ng tenga (the part that connects the side of the head to the ear.

sir sinunod ko sya d2 yung comments nyo sa female bust ko.. i hope i nailed it right..

Ayan di mas ayos! OK sa lips - parang angelina jolie ba yun? But try to fix it a bit - medyo mataba yong pouting part - parang nakagat ng langgam. But the facial proportions are way better than the previous ones. Sometimes it is easier to do freeform creatures because nobody has seen them anyways so there is a tendency to believe as long as you nail the look right. For humans - it is very very difficult because we know how they look and mingle with them on a daily basis - so the suspension of disbelief is hard to attain by default. We might not be able to pinpoint them verbally but I am sure that if the cg isn't done right - in the back of our minds there will be something that will disturb us.

I know you are doing this in symmetry - and the fact that I am able to pinpoint it - you might want to break the mirror and make adjustments to the other side like a smirk or a mas mataas na kilay, remember symmetry is the enemy of anything natural!

But this is a good practice! And I want to see more. If you need books point me to the correct url and well get it right away!

sir.. opo angelina jolie po hehehe... buti nahulaan nyo.. im trying to sculpt mga tao po ngayun kesa sa mga creatures just like what u said pag creatures po.. mas madali sya kasi nga no need na pagaralan yung form. mdyu naiinis nga ako pag nakakakita ng scuplt na basta masabi lng na naka sculpt lng pero yung form eh wala na ( no offence po sa iba ha opinion ko lng un). or sobrang mukhang blobby, by the way my v.. d2 sa next model ko i tried na iwasan maging symetrial yung face nya.. hehehe kaso d pa ren ganun kahalata,,

Naunahan ako ng adik - yes morgan freeman ang namukhaan ko. Check your eyebags, they look like nahilom na sugat. Bukas na lang ang ibang comments ha : kararating ko lang galing sa byahe eh. C

tama ka adik si morgan freeman nga pero d ganun kahawig eh... nahirapan ako sa left side i think nakuha ko lng sya sa front/
